"Remi'niya you've been pregnant" the doctor told me as I laid on the hospital bed. "What"I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Yeah when the last time you had your cycle" she asked. Now that I'm looking back I was late on my period.
"Around june 1st" I answered. "Then you were very late, so you didn't throw up or have any mood swings before" she asked me.
"No mainly mood swings" I said. "Oh ok well you're 2 weeks pregnant" She looked at me. "2 weeks" my eyes widen.
"Yes ma'am" she smiled and I just stared off in space.
After the doctors appointment, I left with My parents. "Ma I need to talk to David" I looked at her. "Nah you good, we told y'all to chill and you go and get pregnant" My dad stared at me.
"Ok I get it but y'all don't have to support but at least be here for me" I said. "You keep to many things from us I don't if we should" My mom said.
"You kept that I had a whole fucking sister away from my whole life and you talking about secrets"I shouted as we stood outside the hospital.
"Watch your damn mouth" they both yelled.
"We think you should abort it" My mom stated and I looked at her stupid. "No" I said. "Excuse me" she frowned.
"I said no it's not your choice it's mine and David's" I shouted. "David is in jail" My dad said sternly.
"I'll bail him out eventually" I muttered. "With what money" They questioned. "I don't know but ima find a way to make some damn money"I said.
"You're pregnant what are you going to do" My mom yelled. "You know what just watch" I walked away.
