Chapter 3: A melting experiance

WILLOWS POV
I was making a flower crown when i felt a slight tap hit my shoulder. It was unexpected, so i jumped. I looked behind me to see that it was Hunter.
"Hey, Willow!" He said.
"Hi!" I replied back.
He sat down beside me to look at what i was doing.
"Uhhhh. What are you doing?" He asked me.
"Wellll... Its a flower crown!" I akwardly said. "Wanna look?"
He nodded his head, so i continued working while he watched. I braided the flowers together as he observed, but i looked back at him a few times and saw him looking at me. As soon as we made eye-contact he would turn pink and look away again. I was kind of distracted, but before i knew it i was done.
"And finished!" I cheered.
He gave me the warmest smile. *Hes so cute!!!*
"What are you going to do with it?" He asked me with a puzzled look on his face.
"This!" i said.
And i placed it on his head. I could see him turn red. I turned pink aswell. *OH MY TITAN why did i do that??* I could tell he was trying to speak. the only words he could speak where "Uhh... Thank you?
We just stared at eachother for a hot minute, both of us a dark shade of pink. And before i knew it, he ran back into the house. I couldnt help but sigh deepily. After a few minutes of fidgeting with my hands, i got up aswell.

I flopped onto the couch, with my face in the only pillow that was there. I think I was too distracted by my own squeals to hear Vee's steps coming towards me. She tapped me on the shoulder and i jumped and quickly went up into a sitting position.
"Uhhh, Hi!!!" I said, giving her an akward smile.
"Hey, willow!" She awnsered.
Me and Vee never really talked much. Thats pretty weird since we lived in the same house, and the same room. But thats the main reason why we where a little akward.
"So we all are going for icecream, your coming right?" She asked me out of the blue.
"Oh?" I said. "Sure!"
"Got that. We are leaving right now, so come on." Vee said, breaking our conversation.
Me and Vee walked out of the door together. We went out of the house and into the front yard. there stood everyone, wearing hats or headphones to cover up their ears. I put my hood up went with the group.
We where walking to the icecream store. everyone was in pairs but Hunter. He was walking on the side of the road because there was no room for him on the sidewalk. I felt bad, so when he looked at me i signaled him to come over to me. I could see Gus smirk as i gave Hunter the hand gesture, but that didnt matter to me. As he came over beside me, i tried to start a coversation.
"Do you know what icecream is?" I asked him.
"Nope." He replied.
"Me neither!" I chuckled.
I think what i said was funny, because he started laughing aswell. Harder than i have ever seen actually. I couldnt help but smile softly. As he stopped laughing, he looked at my smile and quickly broke our eye contact. I think he turned a little pink, aswell. So did i, but thank the titan he didnt notice. Suddenly, i could quiet "Aww!"s, snickers, wispers, stuff like that. But this time, i kind of cared about it. I shot Gus an icey look and everyone quickily stopped. The rest of the walk was a bit quiet, but a few people where still talking. Luz and Amity where chatting, and Hunter and Gus where talking right beside me. Gus slipped back behind the group because Hunter wasnt talking much. I pretty much just stared at the sidewalk the whole time. Later, when i was distracted, Hunter put his hand on my shoulder. my face immediatly froze up and i turned red. I looked off to the sidewalk opposite from us so no one noticed. Minutes passed, and a little later he took his hand of my shoulder. i could finally cool down. But too be honest, i was kind of sad he let go.
We later got to the icecream store. Camila opened the door for us and we all went in. Gus was looked all around the store, and he was mesmorized.
"Woah, whats this?!" Gus said.
"Thats the icecream, dufus!" Luz chuckled.
We all picked out the flavors we wanted but Vee didnt get any. We all walked out of the colorful building with smiles on our faces.
"Hey, kids!" Camila said. "I think we should sit down for a while."
I gave a sigh of relief in return. "We are all tired!"
Everyone else gave me a nod, so we turned directions to look for a table or bench. A few minutes later, we found a small-ish table with chairs all around it. We all sat down in different spots and ate our icecream. Suddenly, Luz started to talk.
"We should start working on the portal when we get home."
We all agreed with her. The portal won't work itself like it used to.
It was silent for another couple minutes, when suddenly a big, yellowflew up to us. We all gasped in fear. It was flying in circles around us.
"AHHH, WHAT IS THAT?!" Gus said, dramatically laying his hand on his forhead.
The bug looked a bit like clover, but much skinnier and scarier.
"That's a wasp!" Luz yelled.
We all backed up as the "wasp" flew around the table. Suddenly, I stopped right in front of hunter. He backed up more and whimpered.
"WHAT DOES IT WANT FROM ME?!" He panicked.
"I think it wants your icecream!" Gus said.
I was flipping out to, because I was sitting beside him. But I didn't flip as much. Hunter suddenly got up, and the wasp followed. Hunter awkwardly moved the icecream from side to side, with the wasp still following it. I could hear Luz giggling behind me, so I shot her an icey look before she quickly looked away from me. Suddenly, I heard a splat on the ground. I turned back around to see hunter holding an empty cone, with a frown on his face. (☹)
"Oh titan!" I said, standing up quickly. "Are you okay?"
"Uhuh." Hunter said, in a bit of a whiney voice.
I looked below me to see the colorful mush of icecream on the floor, with the wasp still laying on it. After thinking for a bit, I did the unthinkable.
"Hey, you want some of mine?" I said.
As soon as I spoke, my face turned pink, and suddenly I couldn't keep eye contact with him
His gaze softened as he looked at me. "Really?"
"Yea, sure!" I replied, holding out the cone.
He took it from me and inspected in before taking a taste. When he did, his face lit up. I could see his cute tooth gap smiling in my direction. My face turned red at the sight of him, oh titan!
Suddenly, I could hear giggles and "aww!"s from behind me.
"Oh yea." I whispered to myself.
I turned around to see everybody smirking at me and hunter.
"Ooo!" Luz chuckled, dramatically leaning on Amity.
"Luz!" Camia wisper yelled in Luz's direction. "Dejarlas solas o conseguir el flip flop!"
(Leave them alone or get the flip flop!")
Luz froze up, than gave Camila a quick nod.
"This is really good!" Hunter said, handing the icecream back to me.
"I know right!" I replied. "Luz said not many people like this flavor."
Vee suddenly broke the conversation. "Well, let's finish quickly so we can work on the portal.
"Agreed." Amity replied.
Me and Hunter gave a nod. We all got up off the chairs and headed towards home.
