- She wasn't kidding when she said she would be there in 10 minutes. She might've gotten here faster than 10 minutes because it felt like a minute before I heard a buzz from the elevator, letting me know someone wanted to go up.
I buzzed her in, and before I knew it, the elevator opened,
"where's the ice cream??" she yelled; I was in the kitchen, but I quickly stopped washing the dishes to answer her.
"the freezer, come and get it," I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes. I could hear her take off her shoes at the door and go to the kitchen while I was finishing up. She took the ice cream out of the freezer, and I gave her a spoon that I had just cleaned maybe 30 seconds ago.
In response, she took it and gave me a peck on the lips before muttering a 'thank you' and leaving to the living room,
"Can we watch a horror movie??" Jenna yelled,
"I don't really care, whatever you want!" I yelled back. I could hear the tv making noises symbolizing she was switching between channels trying to find something to watch.
After about five more minutes, I was finally done with the dishes and made my way over there; I made some popcorn because if you don't eat popcorn during a movie, you need to go to jail.
I plopped myself down next to her, and she started suggesting movies,
"Halloween? terrifier? There are so many options I can't pick." she groaned, taking some of the popcorn.
"how about the shining?" I suggested, and she nodded, bringing up the movie and pressing play. At some points, both of us jumped at the jumpscares, but overall it wasn't that scary, more like extremely disturbing, and honestly, half the time, I couldn't understand what the hell was going on. Do you know what else I couldn't wrap my head around? We got to this point where Jenna was on my lap, and we were making out, but that's beside the point.
