"After this, you have another interview and an audition for an A24 film," Ryan said. Currently, we were in a car on our way to the interview I would be doing before the premiere of Scream 6. Ryan told me I only have a few more interviews before I can return to France with my parents. I don't want to leave, but at the same time, maybe this is good for me.

Lydia is back in France for the spring, and Billie is going to Europe for her tours, which means there isn't much here unless it's interviews and other people.

"Audition for Maxxine?" I asked, scrolling through my phone while the traffic piled up. I didn't mind, though.

"Yup. They think you would be a great actor for it, and if you get it, you'll be in Hollywood for most of the shooting." Ryan replied. I didn't say anything, my thoughts getting lost in my own head as we continued. Until the car finally stopped in the alley of the vanity building. Before leaving the building, though, I texted Lydia.

Lydia

I'm about to go into an interview. I'll text you as soon as I'm out.

Alright! Tell me how it goes ;)

Exciting the car, I made my way up the floor and to the place where the interview was being held. There were times when I asked myself why I was still texting Lydia and why I would still give her a chance even when she was the reason Jenna and I were on no speaking terms.

I haven't texted Jenna since the argument, nor has she done so. I'm not sure if this is a complete breakup, but if she said she wanted space, then I will not take that away from her. Sometimes, I would try to go up to her. In past interviews, I would come to her room and get ready to knock on her door, but those plans always failed either by bad timing or me just not having the courage to do so.

I wanted nothing more than to make up with her. to not act like we were okay on camera and then go back to strangers off. Lydia was a rebound. Well, that's what I tell myself. Someone spread the news somehow, and it ended up getting right to Lydia. She was one of the first to comfort me. I'm sure it was to get into my good favors again, a silly act to get back into my life again. It must've worked because we haven't stopped texting ever since.

But if Jenna ever told me to drop her, I would do it in a heartbeat.

"y/n!! How are you?" a stranger asked. I had never seen him, but I acted as if I knew him.

"I'm doing alright. And you...?"

"Oh, right! James. My name is James, and I'm doing quite alright, thank you. Right this way." James said, pulling me into a quick hug and then leading me into a dark room with loads of lights pointing at one singular spot. A photoshoot and then the interview. Great.

"All alright, and if you can stand over here in front of the cameras, we'll get you ready for the shoot!" and so I did that, doing all types of poses for the camera, whatever the photographer spit out for me to do and after what felt like hours we were finally done.

"This way, miss l/n." a woman said; her ice blue eyes captivated me momentarily, but not like Jenna's brown ones. I could stare at them for hours. I did as I was told, following the woman into another, more brighter room. The woman points at a chair for me to sit at, and I do so, the hair and makeup artists doing their final touches on my hair and then the camera being prepped.

"All alright, everyone! Ready?" James asked, everyone nodded.

"Okay... 3... 2... 1... rolling." he started, taking a second, and then, "so, y/n, you ready?"

"Yup! Ask me anything," I said in the enthusiastic voice I always do for interviews. A difference between me and Jenna is that Jenna doesn't fake her voice. A lot of the time, it's calm and laid back with that hint of sarcasm that really isn't sarcasm but is just her voice.

"Okay, so how would you describe yourself?"

"um... probably passionate." I started, giving the camera a grin, "I love music, and I love acting, so I'm willing to put 100% into both to make my fans happy."

"Speaking about music, what are your goals as an upcoming musician and actor?"

"That's easy. I want to play roles, and I want to create music that inspires people to do what I've done. I'd also like to get an award or 2."

"That's great. I love that. So, I hear the scream Six shooting is coming to an end; what are some of your next big projects?"

I laugh into the camera, "Well, I can't really say much, but I will be on an A24 film. Possibly, at least."

"That's great! So, the fans want to know, what's your all-time favorite film?"

"That's a hard one! Um, I'd probably say bound."

"So, who was your favorite actor to be around while filming Scream 6?"

I thought for a second, not because it was a tricky question, but because I didn't know if I wanted to take this chance to utter Jenna's name again. Her name I only spoke in my thoughts and dreams. "Probably either Mason or Jenna. Mason and I used to play video games after shooting, but I would be around Jenna all the time." Should I be saying this? What will she think about this? "A lot of times on and off set."

Well. It's too late now.

"So, when will we see more music?"

"Very, very soon and with a lot of your favorite artists."

"And last but very much not least, if you weren't acting or singing, what would you be doing?"

"Probably cooking full time. I love to cook and express something like love and compassion through a plate of food. It's my love language, I guess."

James went through some final stuff with the editing team before re-rolling the camera, allowing me to say a few things before the video cut.

"Anything you would like to say before we end this?" James asked,

"yeah. Buy your tickets to Scream Six. I promise you guys will love it. Coming May 10th!" I said, grinning widely before standing up out of the chair. James came over and hugged me, thanking me in front of the camera before it turned off. Loads of people came rushing around the place, and the same woman came back up to me, leading me back to where Ryan was sitting, scrolling through his phone.

"Ryan. Let's go," I told him; he quickly looked up and smiled before standing up,

"How was it?"

"It was good. They asked some good questions. When can we expect this to come out?"

He thought for a second and looked at his phone before looking back at me, "No later than a day or two. Now, let's go before you miss the next one."

I nodded and followed him back to the car. It didn't take us long before we came to the garage of the building we were interviewing in. Ryan hadn't told me what the interview was about yet. Finally, once I stepped out of the car though, Ryan softly grabbed my shoulder,

"Hey, it's another cast interview. I know it may be a little awkward with Jenna there, but if it really makes you uncomfortable, then we can opt you out of it if you want," he said, to which I quickly shook my head. It was pitiful that I wanted to see her any chance that I got; she was so beautiful, even if I couldn't tell her that right now.

"All alright then, let's get this over with."
