Jisoo's curious eyes

6 months later

Jennie was looking outside at the backyard through a glass door, with a glass of water she just took from the faucet. She was looking at Irene talking to people Jennie didn't even know, as Irene toss and turn , grilling some corn cobs. It was a house warming party, Irene and Jennie just recently moved. The house was a gift from Irene's parents for their wedding. The visitors were mostly Irene's friends, Jennie on the other hand kept it tight, as she only invited Jisoo and Haein. Irene looked up at the direction of the house, and saw Jennie inside, looking at her. Irene smiled, and winked at Jennie, that made Jennie chuckled, Jennie smiled back at Irene. But that smile slowly fades as soon as Irene looks down and focus on the corn that's starting to burn.

Jennie finding it hard to sleep that night, that's how she's been for a couple of month now, she was sitting at the corner of her side of the bed, naked. It was their first night at their new house, but she can't seem to find and make herself comfortable in it. Irene was already sleeping peacefully and has her back on Jennie. Jennie stood up, took some clothes that's on the floor, and put it on, then she goes down to the kitchen, and pour herself a glass of wine, and she settle herself at the couch outside and just watch the moon.

Next morning, Jennie went back to her apartment to packed her things. She started from her living room, she boxed every books she has, every magazines that's on her bookshelves, there's a plastic weaved basket shaped like a pot with a lid, which she took and shake it to know of there something in it, she opens the basket and found some paper clips, coins, refrigerator magnets and a camera film. She examined it thoroughly, she can't remember when and what's in it. So she took it and develop it herself. She stood up right away, went to her developing studio and produced the negatives. After a while the negatives starts to form shapes, shapes starts to form figures, then figures to persons, people. Jennie looks at them one by one. She smiles as some pictures, she remembers, but her brows furrowed when some of it she cant. There's only one solution to it, she has to fully develop them. After she did, she took everything put it an envelope and drive straight to Jisoo's. She didn't rang the doorbell, she didn't even say hi to Haein, who is just outside throwing some hoops. She went directly at the kitchen where she knows Jisoo will be. Jennie took a seat by the kitchen counter, calming herself, before handing Jisoo the envelope. Jisoo open them and she smiles at the pictures she sees

"This is the phase I am glad you grew out of" Jisoo's said holding a picture of emo punk Jennie "I don't even recognize you. Oh my god, that skirt!" Jisoo, laughed, Jennie bit her nails. "Ooh but those boots. These boots are to die for. Do you still have those?"Jisoo's said, then she looks at Jennie. Jennie already looking at her

"Not the boots" Jennie said. Jisoo looked again at the pictures but doesn't seem to know what she's looking for exactly

"Then what am I looking for the guy?" It's a picture of Jennie and her rockstar wannabe boyfriend fighting, outside of the airport

"No not the guy"

"Whatever happen to that guy?" Jisoo asked, as she looks at the other pictures.

"It's the photos Jisoo. They were taken before we met."

"Before you and who met?" Jisoo turn to another photo

"Me and Roseanne" Jisoo laughed

"What are you talking about?"

"She took them before I even saw her, so technically she did make the first move, kind of. Right?" There's a tap on the glass door just behind Jisoo and Jennie

"You ready?" Haien said, He's all sweaty

"I've got to go, I'll just go by your place tomorrow, I'll help you move"

"Where are you going?" Jennie took the pictures out of Jisoo's hands

"Haien need a new suit for work. I cant let him shop alone." Jisoo nods at her husband. Jennie fell silent, as she turns the pictures after pictures after pictures she stopped when its a close shot picture of Roseanne's face. Roseanne's hair was different, but her face looks the same, she was young, they were young. Jennie smiled as the memories came rushing back to her.

Jisoo's POV

After Jennie left their house, Jisoo just change her clothes while her husband took a quick shower, for he sweated from shooting some hoops earlier. Jisoo also dresses her third child and strap her into her stroller. She prepares all the things her baby needs for this day's agenda. On the drive to Senszio a custom tailor shop, Jisoo must be in deep thought, as she was quieter than her usual. Haein noticed it, and it bothers him. He took his wife's hand, and kissed the back of it

"Honey? What's wrong?"

"Huh? Why you asked?"

"You seem awfully quiet, something's bothering you?"

Jisoo took a deep breath "It's Jennie"

"What about her?"

"She doesn't seem happy to me. I know, few months from now she will get married but it doesn't seem exciting for her."

"What do you mean hon?"

"Yes, Irene makes her happy, no doubt about that, but it's short term. Like if Irene made her smile, it doesn't last for a long time, you know what I mean?" Jisoo looked at her husband. Haein scrunched his nose and shakes his head no.

"Its like she's happy but really not happy. Specially now, that Roseanne is back, it messes her again."

"I know you're worried about your friend, but she's a big girl now. She can decide for her own, and she knows what she wants and needs"

"That's the thing, I know Jennie. Sometimes she overthinks too much, and it goes through her head. And I really hope she knows what she really wants and really needs. Hate to see her like this"

The couple fell silent after that. Haein parked the car, immediately get out of the car to open Jisoo's door, before taking their baby out and put her in her stroller. Jisoo looks around and saw someone familiar just across the street, she really cant tell who it is, as they quickly entered the bridal shop, just across the street where they are. The couple went inside and Haein, scans suits that he might want. He took a couple out and tried them on

"Be honest with me, I look fat?" Jisoo laughed.

"Honey, you're far away from being fat, you just lost your two abs there's four more left. You have nothing to worry about"

"This can't be!! I'm going to be more dedicated. Going back to the gym" He took off the jacket and try another. Their daughter must be bored, as she was getting restless and started to cry, people inside the store was looking at them

"Honey? Give me a sec okay? I'll just take Jill outside to calm her down, then we will be right back. Just browse over there, okay?"

"You sure you don't want my help?" Before Haein can argue, Jisoo is already at the door, and about to go out. Outside, Jisoo's calm her daughter down by telling her stories about cars and how she will buy her only her some icecream later on their way home. It seem to work as her kid starts to calm down and stopped crying. Before going back in, Jisoo looked up at front, on the bridal shop and saw Roseanne on a platform, trying some wedding gowns and people seems to cheer and clap for her. Jisoo stood back and clasp her hands, and eye Roseanne from afar with her curious eyes.
