A little too late, may be?

"Hi, I've been trying this number all morning and I wonder if you can find out if there's something wrong with the line, if it's disconnected or if I can make an emergency breakthrough." It's early in the morning and Jennie is stressed already. She's been trying to contact Roseanne and she can't seem to connect.

Jennie was pacing back and forth in her apartment as she waits for Jisoo. Jennie bit her nails as she was anxious and restless. Moments later, Jisoo came.

"Thank God for school, I am now a free mother" Jisoo's said as she slumps her body to Jennie's couch. Jennie doesn't seem to notice Jisoo, as she still keeps on pacing back and forth.

"Earth to Jennie? Hello? Goddess Jisoo is here"

"Oh" the only Jennie answered

"Are you okay? I've got the minivan. So where are the boxes? I'm ready to go"

"I'm not moving, Jisoo. I called off the wedding"

"You did what?"

"Irene and I broke up. I'm not getting married."

Jisoo stood up and hug Jennie " Oh baby, are you okay? What happen?" Jisoo held Jennie at arms length

"I have to do this" Jennie said with a straight face

"Okay, okay. We are gonna sit down and we are going to take a deep breath." Jisoo gently pushed Jennie and guide her to sit at the couch.

"It is so natural to be nervous before you get married. Remember me?" Jisoo smiled at Jennie "Don't worry, Irene is gonna understand,.you just need to talk to her. Just set a time to meet" Jennie stood up, and head and grab back the phone, and started dialing away

"Just tell her,.you need a few days to think it over."

"I have to call Roseanne" said Jennie, she looked at Jisoo, Jisoo looked confused, she tilts her head and furrowed her brow at Jennie

"Roseanne?" Jennie just smiled and nod

"Why would you do that?"

"Argghh who doesn't have a call waiting!!" Jennie said, she pressed end on the phone

"Because it's still her. It was her, it is her, and it will always be her."

"What? What are you saying? Are you sure about that?"

"Yes. I've thought about it dozen of times. I have to call Roseanne. I have to tell her, Im not getting married anymore.

"Wait, wait. You're not calling her. Give me the phone" Jisoo's stood up, took the phone, tossed it on the couch and reached for Jennie's shoulders and gently pushed her down to her couch to sit down again

"We have to think this through, okay?" said Jisoo

"I think five years of thinking is enough for me, don't you think? And actually I've been trying to reach her all morning, but I can't."

"Jennie? I saw Roseanne"

"Really?" Jennie said excitedly "Where? when?"

"She's getting married."

"Whhat?? What are you saying?"

"Roseanne, she's getting married. I saw her at the bridal shop Jen, when we went to buy Haein's new suits, she was there, just across the street, trying some wedding gowns"

Jennie was stunned, she didn't expect this, too many thoughts rushing through her mind right now.

"Fuck... I'm too late, when is she getting married??"

Jisoo's shakes her head as she don't know.
