Chapter 8.
~Kim~
Kims' eyes never left Aaron as he moved about. They flirted with each other, but like Kim knew she would, Laura kept her flirting to a minimum. But he didn't. His eyes traveled every where on her girl. It was when he started commenting on her body that Kim stood up, frustrated. But she was always good at keeping what she really felt to herself.
"Aaron, did you not call me over here for something? Because if not, me and Laura have other places to be."
He looked at Kim and stood with a smile glued to his face.
"Aw c'mon Kim, I know you don't want to leave without seeing it."
"Seeing what?" Laura asked.
Kim answered before he could.
"Aaron got a new punching bag. He knows I've been dying to test it out."
Haha, dark humor.
Laura smiled. She gets it.
Aaron lead them down to his basement which made the girls smile. This was too easy. But Kim knew Aaron. He won't go down without a fight.
Laura was only a temporarily distraction.
A black punching bag hung from the ceiling in the back. Kim had to admit, it was nice.
Aaron saw it in her eyes.
He knew Kim.
She never skipped out on a few rounds.
"Go ahead, get a taste." He said, taking her jacket, sliding it off her shoulders as she walked over to the punching bag. He followed close behind her.
Laura kept her distance.
Kim shook her hands out, then balled them up until the knuckles were white. Aaron walked behind it and held it steady for her. Kim started punching. At first, it sent pain through her arms and made her shoulder ache, but she kept her epression blank. If anything, she would smile at the thoughts going through her head right now.
Aaron was shouting at her to hit hard, turn your hand this way, straighten your body that way.
It was like he was coaching her.
Laura watched deeply.
Kim kept her fist lounging at the bag until she jerked in Aarons' direction and her fist smashed into his unsuspecting face.
The punch was hard too, she felt his nose crunch under her fist.
He fell backwards and Kim leaped on him, throwing punch after punch. He got one good punch in her gut. She cringed, but used her right hand (with the more powerful punch) and flung it across his face until her fist hit the concrete floor, bloody.
He was out completely.
She looked at Laura, who was smiling with tears coming out her eyes.
Kim stood,"what's the matter?"
Laura closed her eyes and shook her head.
"Kim, that was just so.beautiful! You're so graceful!"
Kim smiled and shook her head.
"You're so weird."
Laura giggled and wiped her tears,"anything I can help with?"
"Pass me the needle in my jacket pocket."
Laura picked her jacket up from the floor from where Aaron had dropped it.
She pulled out the needle and recognized it immediately.
