Brooke knew how tense things were. She knew how she had given Warren a chance to be a dad to Mia. But she knew that part of her didn't fully trust him.

She felt anxious about it all. She knew that she wanted to do what was best for Mia and give her a father.

Brooke sat in the house with Mia. She smiled as she looked to her. "Hey baby. Are you okay?" Brooke asked.

Mia looked to her and nodded. "I see my daddy?" She asked.

Brooke looked to her and smiled. "Soon baby. I know that things are hard for you with having your daddy in your life suddenly. But I want you to know that your daddy and I are going to do what is best for you," she said as Mia looked to her and smiled.

Brooke knew how hard that things were with her and Warren. She knew that she was trying to make it work. But it was far from easy.

Brooke walked down into the kitchen as she started to make herself some breakfast and sighed. She looked to see Sandy as she walked into the room.

Sandy looked to her. "Are you okay?" Sandy asked as she looked to her daughter.

"I'm okay. I'm just tired and I'm worried. I know I said I would let Warren be part of her life. But I can't help but worry about it all," Brooke said.

Sandy nodded and smiled. "I know it's hard. But for Mia, you have to try," she said as Brooke nodded.

Brooke walked through the village. She looked to see Aimee. Aimee smiled as she walked over to her. "Hey. How did it go with Warren?" Aimee asked.

Brooke looked to her and sighed. "I agreed to let him see Mia. But it's hard. I just don't trust him. I know what he is capable of. I know it's not easy. I just want things to be okay you know. I know what Warren is capable of. But Mia is my world. The last thing I want is her to be dragged into his world," she said.

Aimee looked to her and nodded. "I know it's hard. But it will be okay. You are doing what is best for your daughter. And you're a great mum. You and Warren will find a way to make this work," she said as Brooke looked to her and smiled.

Hoping that she was right. Especially as she knew that a mess it was.

Brooke got to Warren's. She smiled. "Mia. Go and play for a bit. I need to talk to your daddy," Brooke said as Mia ran off.

Brooke looked to Warren. She sighed. "Look things with us aren't easy. But I want to do what is best for her. So we need to try and find a way to make it work. And that means away from your dodgy dealings. She has to come first," she told him.

Warren nodded. "I know that you don't trust me. But you should know that I'd never hurt her," he said as Brooke smiled.

Knowing none of it was easy.
