Brooke knew that things weren't easy. She knew how she and Warren were trying to make things work.

She knew how he was Mia's father. She knew that he was trying to step up over the time that he hadn't been there. And how he hadn't been in her life.

She knew all that had happened between her and Warren. But she knew that Mia had to come first in all of this.

Brooke stood in the kitchen. She took a sip of her coffee as she looked to see Mia as she walked. "Hi my Mia moo. Are you okay?" Brooke asked as she looked to her daughter.

"I see my daddy?" Mia asked as Brooke looked to her and smiled.

She knew what a daddy's girl that Mia was already. And she found it sweet.

"You can see him soon. You don't need to worry. Why don't I make you some food. What do you want to eat?" Brooke asked.

Mia looked to her and grinned. "Waffles!" she said as Brooke smiled.

Brooke knew that she just wanted for Mia to be happy. And she knew that she and Warren were trying their best for her sake. And after all that had happened. She knew that she was grateful for it all.

Brooke started to make Mia her waffles. She glanced to her as she sat watching her tablet and smiled.

All that Brooke wanted was to do what was best. And she hoped that she and warren could continue to do that for her sake.

Brooke stood in the village as she saw Aimee and smiled. "Hey. Are you okay?" Brooke asked.

Aimee looked to her. "I'm okay I guess. Sami and I had a fight about us and what we are. I just don't know what to think about it all. I mean the sex is great. But I want more. It's like he is ashamed of me. And I don't know what to think about it all," she said.

Brooke looked to her and smiled. "He's a man. You know what they are like. He has no reason to be ashamed of you. I mean look at you. You are beautiful. You're smart and funny. Plus you're my best friend. And if he can't see you for how amazing you are then screw him, okay?"

Aimee looked to her and smiled. "Thanks. How are things with Warren?"

"We're trying out best for Mia. We still have a spark there. And I don't know what to think," Brooke said.

Aimee looked to her and smiled. "You need to talk to him. And see where you stand in this," she said.

Brooke sighed knowing that she was right.

Brooke smiled as she saw Warren in the village. She smiled. "Hey. How is Mia?" He asked.

"She's okay. She's at nursery. She was asking for you. It's sweet," she said.

Warren smiled. "She's a good kid."

Mia nodded and smiled. "Yeah she is," she said.

"Do you want to get a drink? I want to talk about things. I want us to make it work with Mia," he said.

Brooke looked to him and smiled. "Sure," Brooke said.

She had no idea just how things were about to change with them.
