I want to say thank you to all the readers who voted, commented, or maybe even read this story silently. Once Upon a Life just kept coming to me as I wrote. I don't know why, but the characters stepped into their roles without any fuss and took me on a rocket ride.
It certainly isn't a literary masterpiece, yet from many of the comments it was a fun and interesting story, and in my case that's all a storyteller can ask.
So thank you all again for taking the ride with me, and the best of luck to all the ONC entrants.
