good riddance <3
CHAPTER TWO
"i am officially exhausted," faye said aloud as she attempted to enjoy the ride back from set. they were wrapping up the final few days for the second season of the mandalorian and she was tired.
"it has been a pretty long day," a worn out pedro pascal admitted driving the car they were in. it was currently 4:30pm and she had been up since 5:00am to get to set. since she didn't have to wear any makeup because of the mask, the crew just tied her hair into a low bun.
"well, I am sad it is coming to an end though," faye yawned leaning back in her seat, "this was truly a fun experience aaanddd i got to hang out with my favorite heartthrob."
"it was one interview!" pedro exclaimed as he whipped his head around to face faye with a smile on his face, "but you know i am one though."
"yes father," faye said in her monotone mandalorian voice before breaking out of her serious face and smiling wide.
"oh come here," pedro laughed ruffling her hair at the red light. faye's smile was infectious causing pedro to smile as well.
"ok, ok i yield," faye laughed as the light turned green and the car started to move forward. faye still had a very prominent smile on her face as they continued on.
"i love you kid, i don't know how you do it," pedro said randomly as the drive went on. the set was pretty far away from where their trailers were since they were filming away today.
"awe i love you too," faye smiled looking at her basically adopted dad. when she first came into the industry, she was still a minor and since her parents had to stay home with her new sister, she needed someone to be her guardian. people from her parent's friend to even some actors switched around until it was time for her to start filming the mandalorian and the last person wasn't able to take care of her, so when the producer asked around, pedro was the first person to sign up. so, from then until she was officially eighteen, he was her industry dad, and she could not have been happier.
"wait and do what?" faye questioned realizing his whole sentence.
he turned to her and asked, "how to you stay so positive and enthusiastic all the time when you have been around boring adults these past few months? i know if i was your age, i would be going stir crazy from the lack of energy the adults bring."
"hmm well i guess i've always kind of been that way, i've always know how to keep myself entertained and well this helps me," faye responded truthfully as she pulled out a keychain that read 'if you can't find the sunshine be the sunshine' that pedro got her.
pedro smiled at faye before she continued. "and with you and gina how could i ever be unhappy. you don't know how hysterically happy i was when i heard that we got renewed for a second season. there was a literal smile on my face for the whole week."
"you're one-of-a-kind kid," pedro smiled even wider shaking his head and turning to face faye. pedro was coming to the age where everyone around him was happily married with children and he was not. sometimes he wishes he had kids of his own, but having faye around was like having the daughter he never had but always wanted. she was basically a Pascal. he had brought her multiple times to his family parties and events. and she fit in perfectly.
