CHAPTER FOUR

"i am the heir of this nation and no one will be able to take that away from me," faye bellowed to the empty room with a grand gesture that felt fitting for the moment. "so, if you think even if it's just for one moment that i will EVER back down from MY place in this family then you are sadly mistaken." faye's eyes glared down at lucas till's light blue ones with such hatred and rage that it was almost impossible to tell if she was acting or not. but with the script they memorized he knew that she was, but it certainly felt like she hated him.

"if i may you royal highness," lucas snarled pacing evilly towards her, "i know you're secret. your past is not so mysterious. well at least not to me."

"what do you know," faye then paled breathing nervously her posture turning from one of authority to one of timidness she shakily exhaled. her hands coming together and nervously fidgeting with one another.

"i, know, everything," lucas evilly smiled now standing right in front of her, pausing after every word for effect. lucas's eyes were filled with villainousness and faye's petrified eyes looked into one another.

"CUT!" mr. abner yelled smiling wide after the grandiose moment was captured. "i think that's all we need guys thanks!"

"oh thanks," faye remarked blinking a couple of times. it definitely was an impactful scene with a lot of emotions that needed to be portrayed. so in order to basically come out of character was blinking a for a little bit.

"hey you did amazing," lucas complimented walking down to where faye had moved when the scene ended. "i was genuinely frightened when you glared at me."

"thank you!" faye smiled taking the compliment, which was something she didn't do often, but she was really happy in the moment, "you were amazing also! you have such an evil appearance when getting into character, it really adds depth to him. i genuinely was shocked because you give such golden retriever energy."

"thank you, i think! well, i have to go, but from what it looks like the reactions were seemingly positive so good luck!" lucas professed as he walked with faye to the exit. as they exited the building they gave each other a short wave with a smile as they headed into their cars. and thus ended the audition for the heir of the nation.
