As you gazed at the strange door, you couldn't help but be drawn closer to it..

You paced in the living room, the group of everyone you had gathering watching carefully.
"Alright, it's time I let you in... EVERYONE in on what's happening." You looked up, now standing in place and facing them.
"Ye$ I'd l!k3 to kn0w why y0u have gath3red us all.." The computer spoke, a question mark displaying on the screen of its head.
"Yeah.. You're acting really serious too!" Sketch pointed out, a bit worried that you might have 'finally cracked'.
"Well, I will have to fill you in on the reason I am not with Shrignold at the moment.. The REAL reason." You sighed, sitting on an office chair Sketch grabbed you for 'dramatic effect'. "After a while of staying with Shrignold, something... Was odd about him. His eyes." You explained, sitting cross-legged in the spinny chair. "They were dark red.. and shaped like hearts. But that's not too important for now." As soon as you said this, Steve and the rest of the food gang looked at you, and then began to talk amඞngst themselves.
"I at first thought he was just making sure I didn't fall to my probable death... But then I was trapped in a tree trunk for weeks.. He'd come in every once in a while, give me food and talk.. But other then that, Larry was the only other interaction I had. . ." You tensed, just remembering how you clawed at the walls to get out... Was enough to make you turn a bit pale in fear. "Alright, what do we have to do to help..?" Steve suddenly spoke up, making you turn your head to him.
"I need you, all of you, as back up in case this goes wrong.. I'm going back today to see if I can do this without violence." You gave Steve a serious stare, earning a nod from him.
"It's settled... The human will keep in contact with Larry in case of their plan going wrong.. Are you sure you are ready to do this?" Tony gave you a questioning look, hiding his worry.
"Trust me Tony."
"I swear." You smiled, the clock giving you a nod.
[Time skip...]
You stood outside the house, staring at the clouds calmly as you waited. Eventually, you saw his signature cloak beating in the air like his butterfly wings. "Darling!" He flew right to you, landing in front of you quickly. He grabbed your face, checking you for any injuries. It was sweet, but he did kidnap you and hold you in a tree trunk for like.. 4 weeks. "Darling..?" You asked, confused by the name.. "O-Oh well, I needed a good name for you, little moth!" He smiled, squishing your face a bit. ".. It's [Y/N].." You mumbled, struggling a bit. "So fitting!" His hands stayed on your face.. "...Personal space. . ." You mumbled, Shrignold took the hint, giving you a loving look before stepping back. It was a small moment of silence before he spoke. "So... Why?" His voice was stern, yet his expression remained loving. "Shrignold, humans... Work a little different. You got the food part right.. But we need to actually speak to more then one person, or we become.. distant. In worse cases, people from my world had to be medicated." You explained the best you could, you weren't any doctor, but being fully isolated could harshly damage a persons' health health. His cloak seemed to tuck in, showing that he was a bit worried. "My little moth, why didn't you say sooner! I am so sorry, I should've done research!" His cloak stayed tucked behind him as he walked to you quickly with a truly worried expression. His crimson heart eyes had turned a bit lighter in color as he hugged you, now checking for any self-made injuries during your stay in that little wooden prison... He froze, covering his mouth with a gloved hand in shock as he examined your torn up and scabbed knuckles.. "My dear, I-I'm so sorry, I didn't know..-" He was stammering, trying his best to not press your hands too hard. Every time he touched you, he was making sure to me extremely gentle to avoid harming you. His hair fluff would droop slightly as he examined your hands.. Had the others not even checked?! He was slightly angry that the others didn't even attempt first aid, gently giving one kiss on both of the backs of your hands.. Your tense figure would relax slightly, watching him as he carefully looked at your hands. "... So many splinters.. Too many.." He mumbled, seeming to be mentally cussing himself out. Seeing his honest regret, you carefully pulled your hands away and hugged Shrignold.. "Little moth, please forgive my ignorance..!" He hugged, wanting to hug you tightly, but deciding against it. "Shrignold, it isn't your fault.. You apologized, and clearly want to do better for me.. I forgive you." You gave him a kind smile, his pupils darkening as a slight blush made its' way onto his face. "You can hug tighter, I won't break." You chuckled, looking at the man and patting his head. He gently squeezed tighter, placing his head on your shoulder to lean into your neck.. You sighed, placing a comforting hand on the back of his head. "Thank you.. Thank you for wanting to be better Shrignold." You hummed, gently running a hand through his hair. He practically melted at this, leaning into you a bit more happily.
Phase 2 was... actually pretty damn successful-
