it's good to be back

Chapter 5

There was an uncomfortable silence around the two as Hiro shouted his cries of rage toward Honey Lemon.

"Hiro, I asked because it's only fair that we repay him for what he had done to save Tadashi" she reasoned as she firmly stood her ground, but she knew it wasn't enough as his eyes flared with envious rage. "What he had done was tore my family apart! Don't you understand I was the one who mourned, I was the one who wanted revenge, I WAS THE ONE WHO ALMOST KILLED! NOT HIM! HE-" he ranted but was stopped by a loud slap on his face that echoed loudly through the room.

Hiro burned in ache as his right cheek turned red; he wanted to say something to her but was stopped as he faced his older team member. Honey was red, almost crimson, and her eyes filled with aggravating tears and a fiery aura to match. At that moment he couldn't process what she felt, but it was dominant, whether it was anger, disappointment, or even sadness.

"Don't you dare say that you were the only one who felt that way Hiro" she dictated, "we all felt the same pain as you did, we went through it with you, you are not the only one who was scarred by his death Hiro, we loved him, and still do but we reserved it to ourselves because we know we needed to especially me, Tadashi was... God Tadashi was everything to us, me, Gogo, Wasabi, Fred, he was and still is the greatest person we've ever met in our entire life, so don't you dare say we don't understand Hiro because we do!" She paused and collected her thoughts and emotions, she wiped her tears and breathed heavily as she faced him in a loving and caring matter.

She knelt to his height, cupped his cheeks, wiped his tears away, and moved a few strands to see his cute face.

"Hiro you have a big heart, maybe even bigger than the rest of us, and I know you might think that all of this is so unfair to you, but Hiro you will always be his number 1 priority, he is your family no matter what, and nothing is going to take away from you, even though it means expanding it a bit." She smiled a bit encouraging him to do so, which worked as he smiled for a bit. "Ok I hear you, Aiko, I'm sorry for yelling at you I never meant to upset you" "I know you do Hiro, and I forgive you for it because I know you are angry and in pain, after all, you did just find out your brother is alive." Hiro then surprisingly hugged her, which in turn did so as well.

"Hey, guys you cool now?!" "Yes, Freddy, it's cool you can come in now," Honey shouted as Fred asked through the door.

After everybody gathered back, Shinji was about to ask Baymax to scan Tadashi to check if he was ok, when suddenly he woke as his grunts echoed through the room. As he twisted and turned, the sheets that covered him fell to the floor leaving his body open for everyone to see, Tadashi began to blink to adjust his vision only to see his doctor and his robot with people he did not recognize or vaguely remember.

Tadashi looked around them in speculation, but when his eyes stopped at Hiro, his head suddenly ached in pain, and his ears were ringing deathly loud into his brain. The ache was so painful to bear, so much in fact that he screamed in agony, screaming for it to stop.

As Tadashi screams, the group simply froze for God knows why, they knew that their friend was in pain and needed comfort, but they were merely stunned as his screams turned into physical harm as he began banging his head to the railing of the bed to the walls.

Shinji tried to limit the damage as he pulled his body and his weight trying to pull him back, "Tadashi pull yourself together! Those parts are not easy to replace y'know!" he cried, but even that did not make Tadashi stop as he began to pound his head harder.

The group did not know what to do at that moment as fear becomes of them, but one did not. As Hiro gathers up his will, courage, and strength to run towards his brother, as he remembered why he was there in the first place; he finally grabbed his torso, and with his full strength, tries to pull him off the wall.

"Tadashi, I know you can hear me! it's me Hiro, your little brother" He told, "I know you're in pain, but please calm down, I'm begging you, please I need my big brother back so please stop, TADASHI!"

Then as the words finally slinked back off the wall, he knelt to his height and looked and reached him with his own robotic arm through his face, trying to find some truth in his words, when suddenly, memories of his past came back to him in flashes, it was as if he was stuck from a horrible unending nightmare and was awoken by the soft voices of his brother. His eyes blurred as tears began to form and with a joyful chuckle and smile, he talked in his horse and semi-robotic voice, "Hiro is that you?" he asked tearfully and was answered by a tight and tearful hug from Hiro as he called out his name.

"I-is this a dream?" "n-no I'm here I'm really here," Hiro told as the hugs became desperate and reassuring. "I-I'm s-so sorry for leaving you and a-aunt Cass I-" "I know big bro, I'm sorry too for giving up hope I-I should have believed the possibility that you were still alive" Hiro reassured as they pulled apart with tears still left in their eyes.

"Wait how did you find me, and Mr. Callaghan how is-" "Bro slow down we'll keep you up to speed in a while, there are still some people who want to see you" Tadashi wondered who his brother was talking about, but when he looked at the people at his brother's back, he immediately knew who they were.

"Wasabi, Fred, Gogo, Honey Lemon how-" "TADASHI!" the group called as Wasabi, Fred, and Gogo cut him off and rushed towards his side and tackled him to the ground and hugged him tight as they exchanged some relieving words towards him form "we missed you so much" "don't you ever scare us like that again" "welcome back dashi" to, "so happy you're back" as they broke off, Tadashi noticed someone missing. As he looked back, he realized who it was as she was the only one who stayed back.

"Aiko" he called in a whisper, "hey, long time no see" As Honey Lemon flashed a smile, Tadashi ran towards her and carried her into the sky and passionately kissed her on the lips, which she returned. Everybody watching the interaction was simply shocked and confused at what happened. As they pulled apart, they simply smiled and their foreheads finally touched, but their bodies never left each other as they stayed that way until Fred finally broke the ice.

"Ok...ok backup h-how and w-when did you two get together?!" "Yeah man when, and why didn't you tell us?!" there was simply chaos around the two as they were hammered by their friends and Hiro. Meanwhile, Shinji sits back and observes with a grin, enjoying the scene before him.

It took about an hour to answer their questions and calm them down, and after that, Shinji called Tadashi to his bed to rest, and Baymax to make sure he was ok. After Baymax analyzed and told them that he was ok, Shinji told them that it was getting late, which the group also noticed as the sky began to turn into an orange hue.

As they walked down from the building, Tadashi and Shinji also came to say goodbye. They exchanged some hugs and words before leaving Baymax into Shinji's care for the time being to watch over Tadashi's health and well-being.

With one last hug between the two brothers, the group left and disappeared into the fields, while Tadashi, Shinji, and Baymax went back inside to focus on the recovery process so that he would come home healthy and complete.

Extra:

as the group walked the streets of the city, Honey Lemon suddenly remembered something that she needed to tell Hiro.

"Oh, Hiro I forgot to tell you" "What is it Honey Lemon" "Well..."

as Honey whispered into his ear, Hiro's eyes widened in realized what Honey Lemon was whispering to him 'Oh shit?!' he thought cursingly as he imagined Mrs. Grandville's stern face in his mind ready to scold him till they reached the gates of hell.

as Hiro sulked in his grief, the group simply laughed at his predicament as they knew what will happen tomorrow.
