Finally Xander says, "Dakota, don't you recognize your brothers?" Dakota taps her name badge and calmly replies, "You must have me confused with someone else. My name is Drea. Now would you prefer a booth or table?" Jasper rudely responds, "Dakota we are not going to actually eat in this dump! Only reason we are even here is because we heard that you were here and came to check it out." Dakota answers back just as rudely, "Well I am not Dakotah and since you are not planning on eating I would appreciate you leaving now." Julian says, "I know you are Dakota. You look just like your twin sister Delilah." With that he pulls out his wallet and shows her Delilah wearing a cheerleader uniform. Dakotah can also see another picture of their Mother and Father together. Those pictures make her angry and knowing he does not have a picture of her Dakota sarcastically taunts him with, "Well do you have a picture of this Dakotah rather than her sister? All three spend a few minutes looking through their wallets and phones before Xander explains, "Dakota has been missing for 3 years so we do not have any pictures but you do look just like Delilah." Enjoying messing with them Dakotah says, "Well perhaps that was just a bad picture. Do you have any other pictures of this Dahlia?" All three immediately correct her with,"Delilah," as they show her picture after picture. Dakotah shakes her head and says, "I am really sorry to hear about your missing sister but I was born and raised in Chicago. This restaurant belongs to my parents Josh and Tracy Williams. I am Andrea Williams. Your sister Dahlia is really pretty but I..." They all interrupt her with, "Delilah."
Just then two men come in and Dakotah immediately leaves to seat them. They are regulars so she knows they like sitting at a table near the kitchen. Then a couple comes in and decides to sit in a booth. Her brothers are still standing there but Dakotah ignores them and takes her customers orders. Josh is busy in the kitchen cooking since there is no cook until 11:30. When four women come in Dakotah's brothers finally leave. As soon as she seats the women, Dakotah goes to where Josh is cooking in the kitchen and tells him that she has to leave sick. He looks at Dakota in horror and says, "No please do not leave Drea. Please, please, just wait until eleven when Sandy comes in. I can not both wait on tables and cook and Tracy is out of town for a few days with her Mother and sisters." Reluctantly Dakotah agrees to stay until Sandy gets there. After all she did beg for these hours.
The restaurant stays busy but to her relief her brothers do not come back. Hopefully they have given up on her and gone home to their Mansion in Southern California. She ends up staying until noon when Abby also gets in. She glances in the kitchen but Josh is no longer in there. The regular cook Andre is alone and busy trying to keep up with the orders. Dakotah is allowed to have a free meal but she does not bother. Even if she lucks out and her brothers went home to CA there is still Trigger and his gang. If she sticks around she is going to lose her freedom. Perhaps when School starts again she can call Carlos and see if the coast is clear? Then she could still graduate and get a scholarship under the name Drea Smith. Or maybe when school starts she should just show up at her social worker Sydney's office and get into a different group home? Her brother's think Drea's last name is Williams and John Salvanti's gang probably would not figure out where she was so quickly. After graduation she could go to a college someplace besides Chicago. Hopefully she could even get a full scholarship out of State. She decides that is a better idea. She will miss Carlos, Jill and the foster kids but she is getting too close to them anyway.
She needs to remember what happened to Robbie because of her. Trigger already threatened Jill. Even tho he backed down afterwards she knows gangs rely on your weaknesses to control you. She has become too weak. She has to be smart and strong. She already has all she needs with her. She always keeps all her money on her and it is now tucked inside her bra. Her backpack has extra clothes and necessities in it. She has her phone. After changing out of her waitress uniform she leaves it hanging up in the bathroom. She uses her phone to find the nearest bus station. It is out of gang territory by around 3 miles. She will buy a ticket to whichever city a bus leaves for the soonest. Just like always. She will avoid destinations like Oklahoma City of course. She must be careful of gangs in her past.
