"Okay, my parents will be here soon Namjoon, so stay calm. We've got this! Yeah! We've got this." I was currently freaking out. It had been a week since Namjoon and I talked, and we finally decided to talk to my parents. "Are you sure I'm the one who needs to stay calm?" Namjoon began to tease me, and I glared at him. "I'm freaking out right now Namjoon! What will they say?" I asked him, throwing my arms in the air. He laughed at me and wrapped his arms around me. "It's okay Jin, they will definitely react better than my parents, plus if all else fails, I have a secret savings from my rap career." I looked at him in awe and nodded my head at that.

I then heard a knock at the door. I slowly made my way to the door and opened it. "Jin!! How is my baby doing?" My eomma aggressively hugged me, and I felt like my lungs could collapse right then and there. She let go and I looked at her and smiled. "I'm doing good eomma." I said and she smiled. I looked over at my Appa and he smiled at me. "So what did you two want to talk about?" My appa asked, and I led them to the couch. "Well," I started as I motioned for Joon to join us, "we wanted to say that we want to call the wedding off. I know that you are going to say no, but I want to convince you otherwise." I looked at them, and they stayed silent. I looked at Namjoon and nodded.

"Mr. and Mrs. Kim, there are some things that I believe you should that my parents probably kept from you. The business has been failing for years, and they have been trying to find me a suitor in order to save it. They aren't the greatest people to be merging with at all, and I definitely don't think they will be great assets to you." Namjoon said this and my appa looked surprised. "What brought you to say this to us Namjoon? You seem close with your parents. I can't imagine that you'd expose them like this." Namjoon looked back at my appa, and took on a few breath and let it out.

"Well to be honest, they've never really been present in my life. They've only used me in order to use other people, and it's never sat right with me. This whole situation has really opened my eyes, especially after meeting your son. We have grown much closer, and I really like him. However, I am not ready for marriage, and if I am going to marry I want it to be on my terms. Not theirs." I looked at my parents and they looked like they approved. I was so proud of Joon.

"Are you aware that they will cut you off as soon as they find out?" Appa asked this and Namjoon immediately answered. "Yes sir. They have reminded me many times." Namjoon said matter of factly, and he looked sad. It broke my heart.

"Okay Namjoon, we will break the deal off, and we will tell them for you. However before we do, you two need to move out of here immediately and into our home. I was expecting this, and I definitely don't think your father will take too kindly to this Namjoon. Do you plan on seeing them again?" My eomma spoke this this time, and Namjoon replied. "I would like to someday, but not anytime soon. They won't forgive me for a long time, but I know they eventually will." He took my hand and I could see the sadness in his eyes. He truly loved them even if they didn't love him.

"Alright then, I'll call the movers. Be ready by tomorrow." My Appa said, and my parents left after saying their goodbyes.
