Raiden's Pov

The next day, the Amity Colosseum is still floating high amid the cheers of an excited audience as the two opposing pairs of partners for the match. I stood in my place in the arena, along with Raiden. There were twins on the other side both with brown hair with green eyes but different colours of clothing the older one wore purple as the younger one green.

Port: "Damien and Rex Williams of Shade, versus Josh Hamilton and Raiden Stormwing of Beacon."

Oobleck: "This will be an interesting fight the 'Double Trouble twins' going against one of Beacon's greatest attackers and defenders."

We all wait in the centre of the stadium for the holographic roulette to pick the field. After a while, the Colosseum then chooses four fields to rise from below in quarter sections: A field of volcanic earth complete with a volcano at the centre and red Dust Crystal; the ruins of a city, complete with buildings holding shattered windows and rubble among the pavement; sunny dunes and stone formations, and a small circular light that resembles the sun appears overhead; and finally, a tropical ocean biome centred around a large shipwreck. Needless to say, the arena was completely at my disadvantage, which Josh soon noticed.

Josh: "Uh.... Raid?"

Raiden: "I know. Now if I remember clearly, try to take out Rex as quickly as you could. Even with our speed and defences, we cannot dodge his arrows."

Josh: "Why not?"

Raiden: "His Semblance makes sure he never misses. Even without it, he never misses. But you can deflect it. Just leave Damien to me."

Josh nods at my order and we all readied in our positions.

Port: "3, 2, 1..... BEGIN!!!"

As soon as the word is said, Rex falls aback among the ruins, trying to gain a vantage point, with Josh on his tail, while me and Damien clashed swords against each other. Damien grinned at me as he pushes me down with his katana.

Damien: "Not bad. But I still have the upper hand."

Raiden: "Don't... get... too cocky!"

His face then turns into a look of confusion. Then, I suddenly disappeared into my original form and appeared behind him changing back into my human form. As if he had predicted it, he turns into his liquid form, my sword safely phasing through his body.

Me and Damien kept exchanging blows after blows, as well as deflecting each other's strikes. Needless to say, I was equally matched with him. Meanwhile, Josh is trying to catch up with the other twin as he leaps and sprints through the ruins with the use of his parkouring abilities, but that proved too difficult for him to navigate around the ruins, causing Josh to lose sight of him. He looked up only to find Rex positioned on top of a ruined building, notching the arrows in his gauntlet bow. He loosed the arrows onto Josh, but he deflected them as he spinned his guitar axe in front of him.

Josh propels himself up towards Rex and tries to bring down his axe on him, but he dodges at the last second. He split his bow into two and into a pair of curved daggers and their blades interlocked as they fought at the top with extreme balance and agility.

Back with my fight, me and Damien found ourselves fighting in near the ocean biome. I noticed that he was trying to lure me into a trap as he could easily take me out with the water around. But I easily turned the tables as I disoriented Damien and leapt over his head and dragged him away from the water, before I locked swords with him again, and starts striking me in every direction, blocking them each successfully.

Damien: "Very clever....."

Raiden: "Whatever."

He then gave me a smirking look through the flashes of sparks between our weapons. Trying a new tactic, he sheaths his katana back and began spinning around me as he continued his onslaught of strikes, looking for an opening in my defence anywhere he could, but to no avail. As for Josh and Rex, things were for them are getting a lot more serious. With Josh acquiring, Rex's they began fighting in range combats. Rex shoots a barrage of arrows, making Josh turn his guitar axe/gun back to its defensive stage and block them all with ease.
