No one's pov

"Is that normal?.." Lo'ak whispers to tsireya, not letting his eyes off the two boys. "Yeah, it happens" she says calmly smiling.

(Later)

Tsireya and her brothers walk back to there pod, ready for dinner.

"You kids have a good day?" Father says as we eat. "I don't want to teach the forest kids, it's too much effort" Aonung says as tsireya hits him in the back of the head.

"Why don't you like them?" She says to him mad. "You have to accept them aonung, they are one of us now? Mother says to him.

"Anything else happen?" Dad says trying to lighten the mood.

"I healed Neteyams hand" I say not lifting my head up and looking at my food. "Good job my son, putting that to good use!" he says grinning. I don't know why I have this power, I was just born with it.

"I'm not hungry anymore, I'm going to go to bed" I say standing up and walking away.

(The next day)

Neteyam pov

Y/Ns been teaching me how to ride an ilu, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I think I'm getting there. "Your sat like your riding an ikran, these aren't ikran, keep yourself on the ilu, not crouched over it." Y/N tells me as I sit on the ilu.

"Ok, one more time" he says as I dive underwater. I'm doing it. I'm doing it! I think as I turn back and ride back to Y/N. "I did it! I did it!" I say swimming up to him.

"Yes! You did it!" He says smiling. My heart skips a beat seeing him smile at me like that.

"Y/N! Y/N!" We hear as his smile fades. "I- I need to go. Sorry Neteyam" he says as he quickly swims away out the water and walks to a pod, he seems like something wrong so I follow him. Trying not to make a noise.

"Where have you been Y/N! You were meant to be here 30 minutes ago!" A boy who looks a few years older than us says yelling at him.

"Sorry i just- I had to help Neteyam learn" he says looking to the floor. "So!? Is he more important to you than me!?" He yells back in his face, Y/N on the verge of tears.

"Tsu'Tri calm down-" "don't you tell me to calm down!" Tsu'Tri yells walking closer to Y/N, him backing up till he's against the wall. He then slaps Y/N across the face, causing a red mark to form.

Y/N cries as he slowly slides down to the floor, covering his face in his hands. "If you ever step out of line again, I'll kill you" Tsu'Tri says with a stern face as he walks away, leaving Y/N alone in the pod.

"Y/N! Y/N are you ok!?" I say running in and kneeling next to him. "Yeah just, just tired." He fakes taking his hand of his face, leaving the one over the slap on him.

"Y/N I know your lying.. move your hand" I say putting my hand to his one on his face. He flinches as he quickly stands up and walks off. "I- I need some rest" he says leaving.

I get up and run out to the direction he went, but he's gone already. Where would he have gone.

I think of something as I try find tsireya. "Tsireya I need to talk to you" I say finding her. "Sure what is it?" She says smiling. "Where would Y/N go if he's upset?" I ask as her smile fades. "Why?" She says worried. "He just seems upset and walked off a while ago" I lie, I didn't want to make tsireya more worried.

"He normally goes into the forest over there" she says pointing in a direction. "Okay thanks tsireya" I smile as I run into the forest.

He must be somewhere. I think as I walk around.

I see a glow in the distance as I quickly run to it. I quietly look around the corner to see Y/N put his hair on his cheek as it glows. Once the glow fades I sit next to him.

"Y/N who was that boy?" I say as he turns his head to me, his eyes red. "Boy? What boy?" He chuckles and lies again. "Y/N I know your lying I saw it all" I say putting my hand on his. He cries louder as he drops his head onto my shoulder, hugging me.

"How long has this been happening?" I ask running my fingers through his hair. "I think, about 7 months" he says as he stops hugging me and looks to the ground sniffling.

"7 months!? Y/N this needs to stop! You can't live like this!" I yell but he keeps quiet.

"Y/N we need to tell someone" I say getting up "no!" He yells pulling me back down. "Why not?" I say sitting back down "don't you see?.. I cant! He'll kill me. I'm not even meant to be talking to you right now" he says.

"But we can't just do nothing! It will just keep getting worse if we don't stop him" I say putting my hand on his cheek.

Y/N begins to cry again as he rests his head on my chest, I hug him close as I comfort him.

"I'll do something Y/N, I'll help" I say under my breath.
