"Dear Diary, today was exhausting. I began training today. It has been 3 months after the demon attacked me that day. My injuries only healed that fast because Miss Shinobu taught me Total Concentration. At the beginning it was hard, but I got it after two months of practice. She reassured that it would help my wounds heal faster. After Miss Shinobu came back from leaving me to rest that day, I told her I would join Demon Slayer Corp. She hesitated at first, but referred me to a Hashira. Turns out, it was the man who saved my life, Rengoku Kyojuro. Training was very hard, given that my mentor is the Flame Hashira. I would say he is very...assertive. The exercises I did today were child's play for him. He did all of them within 20 minutes! I was so in awe, he had to splash water in my face multiple times during training. 50 pushups, 50 arm circles, 20 laps around the Butterfly Mansion and last but definitely not least, 500 sword swings. He stated that training would only get harder as I progressed but that didn't stop me. I started with the 50 pushups and could barely move my arms after. That exercise alone took 1 hour. Rengoku assured that this training would make me a fit person for the corp. I decided to do the 50 arm circles next and my arms started to cramp. They cramped so badly, I had to tie them together at the wrists to stop my hands from shaking. I took a 20 minute break after, according to Rengoku's instruction. The arm circle exercise took 30 minutes. As soon as I was done with my break, I started my 20 laps around the mansion. I ran for what felt like forever. I decided since I had been doing my training without a challenge, I thought it was best that I ran on the walls of the mansion. I fell so many times, Rengoku was concerned if I opened any of my wounds. I did open wounds without issues and he seemed to had noticed but didn't say anything. After my 20 laps, I immediately started my 500 sword swings. My arms were like noodles along with my legs, but Recovery Breathing is a hell of a technique. The laps and swings took 2 hours. My arm was bleeding like crazy during the swings but I kept swinging so hard each time, my left sleeve was soaked with blood after. I was in agony the entire time I was training that when I was finished, I had collapsed. I woke up hours later to Rengoku looking at me with concern. He asked was I alright and I told him I was fine. He said that he was sorry that he didn't stop me when he noticed that my wounds opened. I told him it was fine and that I didn't stop on purpose. He told me that he might lower the workload on me but I told him it's ok and that I can handle whatever he throws at me. He said that the training I did today was enough. I went to back sleep earlier than expected and when I awoke, everyone was asleep. I tried to sit up but my body didn't listen. I glanced over at my left arm and saw it bandaged up. I forced my legs to move me outside with Recovery Breathing despite my injuries and soreness. I picked up a practice sword that wasn't beat up and started to swing while starting to breathe differently than Total Concentration. The breathing helped me train harder, but it didn't stop the pain. I don't know what this is but I think I'll tell Mister Rengoku about it.
