"I- I'm sorry, what?" I say confused.
"Yes. As you have been training, I have seen it has had less and less of a toll on you each time and no person that has tried my regiment has completed it except one other than you. You have gone above and beyond to prove yourself worthy of being my Tsugoku and a Demon Slayer." I'm in such awe at his words, I just smile. I'm so happy, I lunge forward and hug him tight. He is taken by surprise as it takes him a second to hug back. "Thank you so much Mister Rengoku!" I say on the verge of screaming. "Your welcome Kimura." He says content with my reaction. "I can finally start missions! If I'm able to, I want to meet the other Hashira! I bet they are all just as great as Mister Rengoku!" I snap out of my thoughts as I notice that I'm still hugging Rengoku and I jump backward into a cross legged position. I look at him and he is smiling happily. "So... When is Final Selection?!" I ask eager. "Final Selection is going to begin on. "Begin? How long does it last?" I look at Rengoku with confusion and slight disappointment plastered on my face. "What's with the long face Kimura?" I hear him ask. "How long will Final Selection last?" "Final Selection lasts a week. It will consist of you and other people who have been trained by former or current Hashira to see who is worthy of becoming a Demon Slayer." He says. "So... What happens if I survive Final Selection and come back safe?" "Affirmative! If you finish the week without any hindering injuries, you will pick a unique nichirin ore and become a Demon Slayer." He says cheerful. "Really?! Can I customize my sword? Will I be able to meet the other Hashira?!" I say hopeful. "No and no! To give you an example for your first question, one would be Shinobu-San. Her breathing style is Insect Breathing and because of her physical inability to cut a demon's head off, she must use a raiper-like katana to inject a high concentration dose of wisteria poison into it. To answer your second question, The only way to do that is to have your own breathing style and it requires killing 50 demons or a twelve kizuki!" "Hm... Should I tell him about my breathing? Or should I wait until Final Selection?"
