Animal concept art, the animals that I conceived for my story Frostbite. Insert shameless plug here. Idk. Welp, yeah, there are some mystical animals that I decided to try to draw for descriptive purposes. Yeah....uh....my creativity is gone. I guess I'll insert the art and then write/type the notes on the art, how the animal is linked to the story as well as extra details about each animal species.

Looming over the gigantic, snow covered pine trees, dwarfing mother nature's land. The beast caused the earth to quake with every step of it's hooves. It peacefully walked, but to any human bystander, this was horror. The animal toppled trees, it could flatten cities. It is the Elge.

Elges got their name from when the Norse first saw them. The man in question had only witnessed a juvenile, thinking it was a moose. Moose translates to elge in Norwegian.

Both males and females have their antlers. Those antlers collect a magical ice due to living in the arctic circle and having their heads held so high in the air. That magical ice holds a valuable ability boost, making it a high demand product. Their fur is coarse and itchy, despite the insulating capabilities, it is not suitable for comfortable clothing.

Elges are solitary creatures, dangerous when provoked. They are an endangered species, as the world is warming and their cold habitat becoming more and more urbanized. With their very valuable ice production, the animals are poached. It is illegal to kill these beasts in Britannia and Kalmar, but Slavia still allows it.

Elges are linked to the stories with Sweden and his aspiration to protect animals, these ones in particular. Some elges do live on Kalmar Palace's and the lodge's mountainous, forested snowy land.

Peaking its head out of its ground burrow, the fox-like creature spots a human. Fearfully, the animal scurries out of its burrow, and wraps its entire long body around the nearest tree. The animal snarls at this human, wrapped around the tree tightly. This was the Krimer's land, no humans allowed.

Krimers have long claws built for digging their burrows. Their appearance has evolved to mix with the basic red fox, to stop humans hunting these animals for their rich, durable fur. A krimer fur coat is a status symbol of a noble woman's wealth.

A krimer habitats any sort of forest it can scurry into. Sadly, with rapid deforestation, krimers have had to adapt to live in urban areas. Their venomous and easily frightened nature makes them seen as dangerous pests. Peasants and nobles alike refuse to have a krimer living in their garbage.

Krimers are linked via Snippet from that one obscure chapter, as well as how Scotland is allergic to their fur. No fancy fur coats for England.

Rhimeleons came to be in the wild from a set of escaped experiments. They were magically curated by mixing genes with a chameleon and rhinoceros. Somehow, magically, the species was able to reproduce and quickly became a force to be reckoned with.

They have the rough textured skin, horn (s), bad eyesight, color, and strength of a rhinoceros. While they have the body structure, size, eyes, diet, and nature of a chameleon. They are seen as good pets, low maintenance and calm. They do not produce much waste.

Rhimeleons are linked with the same chapter that Krimers were in. Johnathan, the rhimeleon, belongs to Raine, also known as Ukraine. He's chill.

Snope. Snope. Snope. No explanation needed if you have read Frostbite. Lakk...lacking in intelligence. Sorry, I'm really drained right now. Uhm...

Snopes chirp like birds. They have 6 legs and are very, very fluffy. They are expensive and high maintenance pets, making them pets for the royalty, too much for the peasants. They have magical healing capabilities, no one knows quite how they got those abilities. In fact, no one knows really how the snope came to be, they just showed up one day.

That's it. All the art for tonight, today, whatever.
