Surprisingly, Mason was not looking forward to going to Tallham Academy.
For one thing, Mason absolutely hated school. To him, school was like having a full time job. Mason did not like having actual responsibilities, so naturally, he didn't like school.
Secondly, Mason felt comfort when he wore his mask. To go to school, that wouldn't be allowed. Stupid schools and their stupid safety guidelines.
Finally, since Mason had spent the large majority of his adventures alone, his social skills weren't the best. The only time he ever went into the public was to give speeches, which he had practiced for days beforehand.
This was going to suck, and Mason couldn't think of any bright sides.

Tallham City was a glorious sight to see. Skyscrapers penetrating the clouds, businesses lining the streets, and people of all ages and sizes wandering about.
The brand new university was nothing more than a tiny dot on the map compared to the size of the actual city, but don't let it fool you. Tallham University was special.
Tallham University was said to be the school where dreams turned to reality. Where apprentices were turned into masters. Where kids became adults.
And a 15 year old by the name of Lucas Willner was ready to take it on.
Or at least he would be, once he decided to get out of bed.
"LUCAS! GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP, IT'S A BIG DAY FOR YOU!" Lucas' mom screamed, not feeling like letting the lazy teenager get any more rest.
Lucas shot up in shock, falling out of his bed and flat on his face. He slowly got up, looking around his room in the process.
"HURRY UP! YOU'RE GOING TO MISS THE TRAIN!" His mom shouted, a bit quicker that time.
"Alright mom! I'll be down in a second!" He finally replied, rushing to get changed out of his pajamas. Once changed, he grabbed his bag and ran down the stairs.

It turns out that Lucas' mom was right. He almost did miss the train. He had to run across several busy roads without looking just to make it to the train station on time. It was stupidly dangerous, but in his mind, it was worth it.
He was going to Tallham.
For Lucas' entire life, his dream was to be a social media star. Yeah, pretty much every young kid's dream, but a dream nonetheless.
Also like pretty much every young kid out there, Lucas didn't find much success with that. So, he decided to give up on that dream and focus on getting an education.
Apparently, Lucas was pretty smart. By smart, I'm not talking about top of the class smart, I'm talking about top of the school smart. So naturally, he was invited to Tallham.
Although his grades clearly show that he's smart, you'd be quick to find that Lucas is the dumbest genius that you'll ever meet.
