She was born with skin like glass

Clear and smooth

Shining in the light

She was born with eyes like gems

Bright and colorful

Glittering when she smiled

She was born with hair like night

Dark and soft

Flowing down her back

She was born with lips like roses

Red and full

Parting slightly as they bloomed

But like all things that are perfect

Time and experience

Taints the purities

She developed a gaze like a wolf

Predatory and instinctual

Following her victims

She developed fingers like claws

Sharp and deadly

Scratching at enemies

She developed a taste for blood

Salty and warm

Dripping from a cut

She developed a heart of ice

Cold and hard

Never melting, never feeling

She became a monster

With skin like glass

Beautiful by nature

Deadly by choice

Now she hunts

She kills, she feeds

Upon those with skin like glass

So they will never become like her
