Jacob purses his lips and nods, "let's start over." He reaches his hand out, "hey, I'm Jacob. One of your childhood best friends. I should probably let you know I've been cursed with some wolf gene and I'm now part dog." Cecelia smiles and takes his hand, "Hi Jacob, I'm Cecelia. As your childhood best friend, I should let you know that I have stage four leukemia and am dying. Wanna play tradesies?" Jacob couldn't help the lift his lips in a small smile, "tradesies? Really?" Cecelia laughs, "I'm kidding."
Jacob laughs quietly with her, before standing. He bends his arm towards her and nods his head to the door. "What?" She stares at him confusedly. "Well, I'm assuming five years is a long time to keep secrets and we definitely have a lot to catch up on. So, let's go," Jacob gives his arm a little wiggle, and Cecelia smiles, taking it as the two of them leave the cafeteria.

𝐂𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀 𝐓𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐋𝐘 grips Jacob's waist, as the boy zooms out of the school parking lot. The motor of the engine thunders, and the wind blows so hard that though she has a helmet on, her hair still whips. "God, why did I agree to this?" she screams over the loud noise of the motor and the wind. Jacob laughs, though her voice was muffled by the provided helmet, he could make out what she said. "Come on, loosen up a bit. You only live once, right?" Jacob's foot presses harder on the accelerator. Cecelia shrieks, "at least give me a chance to live!" Her shrieks seem to only spur him on as he taunts her, "I find it hard to believe that you made a whole banging bucket list, and shredding the roads with a motorcycle wasn't it." She didn't reply, save for some whimpers and shudders. The two continue to race down the nearly empty roads, it's the middle of a Monday. Everyone's at work or school and these two are ripping the roads with Jacob's self-customized and fixed bike.
With a final scream, Jacob swerves into what appears to be a parking lot, and the gravel skids at the tires. Jacob turns to Cecelia with a proud smile. The girl wobbles off the bike and pants as she tries to reconnect with the flat unmoving ground. "Cool right? I switched some of the gears for the accelerator so it can move faster," he brags, gracefully hopping off his bike. He then moves in front of her and pulls off the helmet, a little forcefully, causing Cecelia's head to be yanked with it. "Ow!" She yelps and glares at the boy once her head is free. "Where did you take me any--...ways"
"Ta-da," Jacobs sings as his hands wave over the view in front of them. "La Push?" Cecelia steps closer to the edge, taking a whiff of the ocean smell. Her hands securely hold the straps of her bag as she leans forward. The salt and kelp allure her to take one step further before Jacob yanks her back by the hook of her backpack. "Careful, do you have a death wish or something?" He reprimands her jokingly and she deadpans. He stops chuckling after seeing her face and slowly realizes what he said. "Heh," he scratches the back of his neck, "sorry." Cecelia stays emotionless for a few more seconds, causing the tensions to rise. She watches this large muscular man squirm under her gaze and finally breaks out laughing. "You should've seen the look on your face," she doubles over, "ha!"
