𝐂𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃 after Embry as the boy ran with her bag to the cafeteria. He was incredibly fast and easily shoved passed people as he laughed. A smile printed across her face, she tried her best to keep up and power through the splurge of pain shooting throughout her body. She wanted to keep up with this feeling of fun, even if her lungs burned doing so.
"Stop!" Kim pulled her back in a hug, and Cecelia immediately slumped into her figure. The pain catching up to her as she heaved in breaths, while she gripped her chest. Kim looked at her worriedly, and ushered her to a less crowded hallway. She let the girl lean on her to catch her breath. "Are you trying to get yourself killed?" Kim whispered in a hushed tone. Cecelia still coughed coarsely, but a smile continued to be brought to her face. "I've never had that much fun in a while," she realized.
Kim frowned and tucked a hair behind Cecelia's ear. She stared down at the girl fondly and shook her head, she couldn't stay mad at her. "Let's go before Embry starts looking through your things," Kim dragged Cecelia in the direction of the cafeteria.
"Just to warn you, the boys can be extremely-"
"There you are!" Embry rushes over and throws an arm around both girls. "Jared was this close to convincing me to open your bag," he said as he escort them to the table. "Hey," Jared greeted the three of them, while simultaneously pulling his girlfriend in a loving embrace. "That face sure does look familiar," Jacob commented as he wipes his greasy hands on his jeans before reaching out to the girl. Cecelia giggled and shook his thumb. "My my my," she held up her hair in Jacob's direction before nodding. "Yup, no doubt about it, Jacob Black," she concluded.
Jacob smirked, "Cecelia Greene."
She then turned to the curly haired boy next to him, "Q."
The second her eyes met his, Quil physically felt his heart stop as the weight in his entire body shifted towards her direction. A series of scenarios of the two of them played out in his mind and his breath hitched.
The entire table looked his way waiting for a response. The packs' eyes widened as they had an inkling to what was occurring. Kim gasped as she looked between Cecelia and Quil, and the former began to worry. "My man," Jacob laughed as he slapped Quil's back. "Um..." Cecelia looked to Kim for help and Kim casted her eyes away. Embry spoke up, "Cee, why don't you take a seat?" He motioned for her to sit in between him and Quil and she obliged, glancing at Quil who was still in shock.
"Did I say something wrong?" She whispered to Embry and the boy shook his head. "Trust me, you've done everything right," he said, making the rest of the table chuckle. Kim stayed quiet as she gathered what this could mean. With Cecelia on borrowed time, what could this mean for Quil?
Jared looked at her worriedly and she shook her head knowing no one else knew of Cecelia's condition and the girl wanted to keep it that way. "Upcoming exam next period," she excused and Jared nodded. "I'm sure you'll do great babe," he hummed.
