Sweet 16

Part 1

Belles pov:

I was sitting in the library with Gabriel, he was just laying on the dark blue divan sofa while i was sitting in a dark blue armchair in front of him reading my book when suddenly i heard him sigh and i looked up to him. 

"Where will you celebrate your 16th birthday?" asked Gabriel, his smokey eyes were filled with excitement. 

"I am not going to celebrate my birthday." I giggled and he  frowned.  

"Hey, it's your 16th birthday! You should celebrate!" Gabriel  begged me.

"Why would someone celebrate getting older? And I wouldn 't have anyone to invite except you" I admitted. Gabriel smiled.

"What if we would just go to a coffe bar, eat a cake drink some coffe? " Gabbie suggested and I agreed. 

"Okay then tomorrow 4pm I will be at your house" Gabriel announced and i just nodded. I hugged him and went home.

 When I returned home, our maid Marie and butler Sebastian greeted me with a warm smile. My parents didn't pay me much attention when I was a child, but Marie and Sebastian always were there for me. Sebastian used to read me bedtime stories, Marie always played with me with dolls, and I felt safe with them. They knew me better than my parents did. They always helped me with my homework, Marie always helped me with russian homework and Sebastian - with math. They always watched my theatre performances while my parents were too busy or just didn't want to be seen by paparazzis.

"Belle, my dear!" said a smiling woman with wavy brown hair that reached her shoulders. I could see the wrinkles near her charming green eyes, which meant her smile was genuine. Marie pulled me into a warm hug and soon I melted in her arms. As soon as Marie let me go, Sebastian winked at me and it made me giggle. 

"I made you lunch, are you hungry?"Marie questioned me, and I felt my stomach growl. 

"Yeah, I'm very hungry,". Marie huried to the kitchen and i followed her. She made me my favorite spaghetti bolognese and cheese. She put Spaghetti on my plate and handed it to me. I sat down at the table and began eating the food was absolutely delicious. Once i finished eating i looked at Marie and asked her: 

"Wheres mom and dad?".

"Oh they left today for an interview in Italy. they will stay there for a week" Marie answered to my question and I felt anger and sadness mix.. They are going to miss my 16th birthday? THEY ARE JUST HAVING A VACATION IN FUCKING ITALY WHILE IM STUCK HERE?! They never cared about me when i was a child but they could at least pretend? I AM THEIR ONLY CHILD I SHOULD MATTER MORE THAN SOME STUPID JOB!! 

My eyes slowly filled with tears, but I didn't want Marie to see me. So I just smiled at her and walked away. I saw Sebastian, but I didn't want him to see me crying. So I just walked away quickly. I closed the door to my room and cried on my bed. I wrapped my arms around my pillow and started sobbing quietly. Thoughts were running through my mind, but I was crying like a little kid. I drifted off.

I woke up to the sound of a man's voice. I recognized it as Sebastian. He whispered my name softly, and I knew he meant to comfort me. 

"Lets go for a walk" Sebastian offered and i agreed. I got up and we left the room quietly, going for a walk. Sebastian knew I was crying, but he didn't want to say anything about it. We went out for a walk, and I felt more at peace.

We sat down on a bench. Seb looked up at the sky, and I looked into his dark blue eyes. I started to explore his face with my eyes, I noticed wrinkles on his face. This man must have been through a lot, I thought to myself. Sebastian turned his head towards me,
