Sweet 16

Part 2

I was laying in my bed peacefully when I heard a man and a woman enter my room. I smiled when I understood that it was Sebastian and Marie but i pretended to sleep.

"She is going to love this" I heard Marie whisper to Sebastian. The next thing i heard was them walking around in my room. Then suddenly i heard them start singing happy birthday. I got up and looked around Sebastian and Marie were standind in front of my bed. Marie was holding a cake and Sebastian held a confetti cannon. I acted excited even though i knew they were here earlier. Sebastian shot the confetti and it flew everywhere in my room. Marie put the cake on my legs and Sebastian lighted the candles.

"Make a wish!" Marie cheered. I closed my eyes "I wish that mom and dad would not skip any of my birthdays again" I thought and blew out the candles. Seb and Marie started clapping. I smiled at them. Marie cut a piece of the cake and put it on my plate. I ate it and it was awsome we all know Marie has golden hands when it comes to cooking. Sebastian took a purple box and gave it to me.

"This is a gift from both of us" said Sebastian smiling

"It would be better if you would unbox it after school, now go get ready breakfast is waiting" Marie spoke and they both went downstairs with the cake. I got up and started searching for an outfit. I finally found my outfit, my mom-fit denim jeans, a simple white shirt with some flowers drawn on it and my light brown cardigan. I dressed up and went downstairs to eat breakfast. Sebastian and Marrie wished me good luck and i went to the car to our driver Matthew.

While going to the school I was scroling on insta, and oh god it was full of posts about my birthday. I did not like the attention I always got from my parents fans, because I did nothing special I was just born in a popular family. The car stopped and we were in front of school. I thanked Matthew and dragged my feet to school. Its not like i hate being there, Gabriel keeps me company in school just its boring there, in the hallway everyone is pushing other people, bumping into them on purpose. It feels like war zone there.. The first lesson is math, if I meet that person who made my lesson schedule im not responsible for my actions.. I rushed to the classrom. Once I entered the classroom everyone went quiet and just stared at me. I got embarrassed and just went to my desk where Gabriel was sitting.

"Happy birthday bestie" Gabriel rejoiced and I smiled. The bell rang and the teacher came inside and started the lesson. I tried so hard not to fall asleep throughout the lesson.

Time skip to the last lesson (Physics):

Gabriel told me a joke and we both bursted out laughing really loud.

"miss McConnell" Said our teacher getting closer to me. I looked at her, she looked so old I never liked her very much, she is aggressive always yells at us for not understanding the task by her explanation when she doesn't explain anything, arrogant she always comments other teachers teaching methods saying that her methods are better, argumentative she always finds a reason to argue with a student.. Its not surprising that she is in her mid 50's and still doesn't have a husband or kids, no one wants her.

"would you mind sharing with the class, what's so funny to you?" She inquired and I gulped quietly, looking at my desk.

"no, thank you" I mumbled and I felt her glaring at me.

"Detention, miss McConnell" she dictated

I looked at Gabriel my eyes full of disbielieve "why was she giving detention only to me? I wasn't the only one laughing" I wondered

After class i said goodbye to Gabriel and stayed in that witch's classroom. She gave me an old students book and just made me do some tasks until the lesson ended. As I was walking out she stopped me.
