Chapter 6, Past mistakes and future promises

Y/N POV

Feeling Aurora get of me as i take one final deep breath before sitting upright, putting my clothes on again before standing up.

Y/N: So........ how are we getting back home?

Aurora: You aren't scared of heights right?

Y/N: Not really now, why?

Aurora: Hold on then.

As i was suddenly grabbed i could feel myself becoming airborne once more as we weren't flying at high speeds this time i could keep my eyes open looking around, it looked beautiful from up here. So many houses seemingly so tiny underneath us as i felt the wind rush past me creating a cooling chill as i could only look at everything now seemingly so tiny underneath me. Smiling at the thought.

Aurora: You seem to enjoy being up in the air~

Y/N: It feels free.

Aurora: That it most certainly does dear.

Smiling as i felt us continue home, soon enough arriving as i was put on the porch seeing Smith's car still standing there.

Y/N: Alright, this will be a bitch to explain.

Walking up to the door i open it looking inside, seeing nobody in the hallway i walk in and put away my equipment in the hall, i'll just put it up in my room later. Walking into the living room now i could see Smith sitting there with some coffee as Mina and Lumi sat beside her, as i look at the TV showing the news with me walking out of the building.

Y/N: FUCK

As Lumi spotted me i was tackled into a hug as i drop to the ground with her laying on top of me.

Y/N: Good seeing you as well again.

I just smile to myself as i sat upright again as i still felt her grab onto me. Everything seemed fine until i heard what sounded like weeping. Pulling her back from my shoulder i look at her tear filled eyes.

Y/N: Hey its ok, i'm back now.

As i could only see her still crying. Did i hurt her, what did i do wrong. Questions flying trough my mind as all i could do was wipe away her tears with my hands as she just grabbed onto them.

Lumi: P-please don't e-ever scare me like that again.

Y/N: What are you talking about dear.

Her voice was a shaky mess as her tears kept flowing.

Lumi: You know exactly what i mean! 

She sounded mad trough her tears as all i could do was think, why did this happen. Until it hit me, god did i ever feel like a fucking idiot

Y/N: I-i'm sorry.

Lumi: Sorry isn't enough you idiot, you got hurt again!

Seeing her wiping away her tears as i felt the feeling of seeing her like this again stab at my heart.

Y/N: I-i promise to be more careful next time.

Lumi: You said that before and yet look at where we are at now! ...... You got reckless again, how many times do i have to tell you i cant lose you again. I cant feel like you will slip away from me again! 

Just pulling her into a hug now as i put her head on my shoulder holding her tight as the tears continue to flow with her desperate snivelling breathing in between tears and cry's.
