no longer alone (short story)

chapter 9

I walked into my new house with Kate she was smiling she was happy but sad as she through I was leaving her if only she knew she was coming with me on weekends me and my dad have worked hard so my mum doesn't get her I loved this girls so much I had my neighbour looking after Kate tomorrow when the court case is as mum is back for a few hours only I am going destroy everything she has worked for as she need to be at the airport at 3 and the court case is at 2:30 so she has a choose hand her over and never see her again or drop the trip and fight for her little girl my mum also told me the song at her wedding which is I swear by all for one which is what I wanted so to upset her im going sing we belong together and see if anyone picks up on it but back to tomorrow we have everything ready for it I have a nice crisp black suit to wear and everything if runs smoothly should fall into place that's as my mum doesn't know she going to get home and police are going to be waiting for her I cant wait to see her face when she sees me with dad I also know we win as the court is in our favour as she not aloud to remarry as I already said so Kate will be said but she will be ok after seeing her dad as she always wanted to stay with him since mum kicked him out I always when you are older well now she can.

"Kate  you know I said when you are older you can go and live with dad well since you are older you might be able to dad very soon" I smiled as I put her to bed and gave her a kiss on the cheek I walked into my room and looked at my suit and sighed this was it tomorrow was the day my mum Becky looses her baby girl and she will hate me forever but im doing it for the best she needs to see what she is doing is wrong if my dad doesn't get her then I  will I always said when I turn 18 I would get her some way and my mum through I was joking well im not.

I had a shower and got ready for bed I was nervous by this is for the best I got in bed and feel a sleep and hope that will go right.

it was Monday morning and I got out of bed and woke up Kate and since it was Half term I didn't wake up till  10 am I got Kate up and fed her around 12 I walked over to where Kate was being babysitted and went home and got ready I got im my car and drove to the court and found my dad and smiled just then we heard shouting

"what do mean im here as my little is being taken away from me" I knew that voice it was my mum I looked at my phone 2:15pm I sighed I started to shake when I saw Oliver looking at me with a smug look on his face I just walked into the room spoke to the barrister and got ready with my dad

the judge looked at my mum and shook her head she was the same person that said about my mum not marring, Becky decided to hand Kate over so she wasn't late and I was told I could have Kate when ever as I got parental guardianship over her as it was  just dad so that meant if dad was away and Kate needed the doctors I could take her. I left feeling like I had won the world and in a month me and Kate had a wedding to go to plus James was coming so he would watch Kate so Becky couldn't take her back and if she tries I will win anyway. I drove back to pick up Kate

"hey  princess guess what you are going to live with you dad and you are staying with me on the weekends and maybe sometime more then them" I smiled hugging her she started jumping then looked at me

"Lucy what about mummy" she asked I froze and then smiled

"you wont see mummy anymore she had a choice to keep you or marry some guy and she chose the guy" I said kissing her I wasn't lying and this way it was easier to understand but it sounded like my mum doesn't love Kate which I guess in away she doesn't. I drove Kate to our dads and said goodbye and then went home I sat in my house and wondered what Mr west was doing right now alone. even through he was going to marry my mum I still love him I sighed and hoped I would find someone to love me for me and not some teacher

before you ask no its not the end its just really short as I want the next chapter to be on the wedding so that will be really short too but then you will realises how much Lucy love Oliver and her mates then find out and her mats then try to help and yeah hopefully it will chance his mind lets just wait and see
