no longer alone (short story)

it was my birthday and I didn't want to go school so I called my mates and we decided to bunk for my birthday I told them too meet me in my garden at 9 so I had time for a shower and time to pick out a nice dress

group convo me : hey guys as its my birthday lets bunk meet me in my garden at 9 don't reply as deleting message so mum doesn't know.

I got in the shower and had a nice relaxing time it took me half an hour instead of my normal 10 minutes I looked at my clock it said 8 am so I got out a nice white and pink flowery dress that the girls got me and put it on I put on some natural colours for my make up bowled dried my hair then curled my hair put on some flats looked at my clock which said 8:55 am so I picked up a breakfast bar and ate that walking into my garden just as I opened the door I finished it so I put the rubbish in the bin and sat on the chairs waiting for the group which is about to turn up.   

"there's the birthday girl" the group said at the same time making me laugh they all had present and cards for me so I opened them most of the boys got me a charm as Danni got me a charm bracelet (Danni was stars boyfriend) matt got me a picture frame of all of us at prom that we got Mr west to take we where all glowing it was in a frame that had heart around it was lovely he also got me a charm and a 20 pound note in my card beth had got me a pair of earing a new dress a glass that said ' 18 now can smash it' and an sister necklace and the girls got me make up I felt like crying I was so happy then I saw an envelop so I opened it and inside was a card saying we are going out for a meal now so lets go I looked up with a smile on my face.

"guys thanks so much I loved it" I chocked out

we go on the bus to the town and went to Frankie and bennies for a meal as this was my favourite place to eat I had my normal burger while the other found something to eat just then we heard shouting

"Lilly I should go see Lucy for her birthday but I want you to come as you are my girl and I don't want some guy touching you" some guy shouted from outside and I knew that voice anywhere it was Edward

"well Edward go im not stopping I have only met her once so it might be weird I will just go home you know we only have a month together till I have to move" it sounded like she was going to cry I got up and ran outside to see if I was right and I was

"Edward, lee please come and join me for my birthday lunch just keep the noise down" I laughed earning smiles from both of them was I started walking in lee started talking

"thanks Lucy you didn't have to do this for me since we barely know each other I know we live on the same street and that" she smiled at me

"lee hun you sometime hang out with us I want to be your mate and since you are leaving soon we should spend was much time with us as possible" I smiled back and she nodded.

after everyone had finished we headed back to mine and had a few drinks then they headed home I laid on my bed knowing my mum was away but she took Kate as she was in a holiday home so im alone for my own birthday

mum: Happy birthday baby I hope you had a good day I had a call from the school saying you wasn't there so I told them you was ill and was going in tomorrow please don't get to drunk and Oliver will be coming over to cheek on you oh you may know him as  Mr west so yes you teacher he will be here in an hour so love you and you prezzy is in the post so you should get it soon see you in 3 months and Oliver will tell you the rest love you. X
