Terri turned from watching Robert and Ruth laying in the grass of the front yard. She walked in the house and turned on a lamp that was on a stand on one end of the couch. She turned the big lights off and walked up the stairs to go to bed. Robert had heard his mom go into the house and knew that now, it was just him and Ruth outside alone. He looked at Ruth. Her eyes were solely focused on the stars up in the sky. He thought about how he would miss her after she left. He grew very deep in thought about what the best choice of action would be in this case. Ruth turned to look at Robert. He was staring off in space but he wasn't listening to anything around him while he was thinking. Ruth let out a sigh of contentment. She had never felt so free in her life. She loved spending time with Robert, Terri, Bindi, Chandler, and Grace. She cared for them as if she was one of them. She knew deep in her heart that she would never be apart of their world. She had a brief look into their lives and she seen good in it but also bad. She knew she had to be careful about what she told her family about what she was doing in Australia. Ruth's sigh derailed Robert's train of thought and he looked over at her. She now had her eyes closed and was smiling at the sky. Robert rolled over onto his stomach and propped himself up on his elbows. He looked at Ruth's face, he thought for a second that she had fallen asleep. But he was wrong, Ruth's eyes snapped open when a noise came from the bushes that bordered the Irwin's land from the woodland close by. She seen Robert was propped up looking at her. She smiled. Robert smiled back at her, rolled back onto his back, and laid there looking back up at the stars that were shining brightly. Robert spoke and said, "Chandler and I are gonna go and do some axe throwing tomorrow, wanna come?" Ruth replied, "Are you guys sure you want me to come along?" Robert said, "I want ya to come, Chandler won't care if ya come with us, and besides, I wanted to take you somewhere after we're done axe throwing." Ruth replied, "Okay, as long as Chandler doesn't care that I come along." Robert smiled, looked at his watch, then said, "Well Chandler and I are leaving right after Breakfast in the morning, so we better get inside and get some sleep. Do you think you could be ready to go by then?" "I can be ready by then. I agree, we should get inside and get some sleep." Robert got to his feet, then helped Ruth up to her feet by grabbing her hands and pulling her up. They both started walking toward the house from the yard. They walked in the house and Ruth started walking up the stairs as Robert turned the lamp off. He followed her up the stairs and they said, "Goodnight" to each other before going into their rooms and climbing into bed.
