I whipped my body around only to meet the face of a very angry Damien. He caught me by surprise, and I let out an earsplitting scream nearly falling over in the process.

"D-Damien what are you doing here?!"

He smiled and sighed.

"Did you honestly think that I would let you escape? You were late, so I knew you had tried to escape, so I came looking for you. It was only obvious that you would try to escape using the woods. Not to mention, I found the neck ring which you tore off your neck. Now why do I have to explain myself to you?" he said smugly.

I guess that was a rhetorical question. He walked over to me, and I tried to crawl away when I heard him laugh. He grabbed a fistful of my hair and made me stand on my feet. I screamed out in pain.

"Are you trying to run from me?"

"P-Please don't hurt me!"

"Aw, sweetheart. I believe I already gave you a warning."

He continued to pull me until the castle came into view. I watched as he opened one of the front doors and pushed me in. Dmitri and Daniels were both starring at Damien and I with worried eyes. I heard Dmitri call to him.

"Damien what are you doing?!"

"What does it look like? I'm disciplining my pet who tried to run off."

He shook his head from side to side.

"Of course she tried to run. What did you expect? You aren't exactly nice to humans, and if you were nice they wouldn't run from you."

I heard Damien growl from behind me.

"It doesn't matter. She was told to do something, and she didn't do it so now she will be punished. I command everyone out of the castle until I am finished with her!"

"Damien-"

"Out now!"

Without another word, Dmitri, Daniels, and the girls all left lowering their head in the process. I tried to grab onto Dmitri's shirt, but Damien pulled me away. In only a few seconds, the castle was completely quiet. The silence was deafening, and that made my nervous feeling ten times worse. The silence was finally broken when Damien spoke.

"Now to deal with you."

He let go of me and pushed me forward. I quickly turned around to face him.

"Take your shoes off and go to the basement." He said with an evil smirk crossing his face.

'My shoes...really?' I said to myself. What did he want me to take my shoes off for?

Reluctantly, I did as he said as he followed closely. I was about to open the door when he stopped me. He grabbed my arm which caused me to squeal and led me down the steps. His hold was gentle while we walked, and I had trouble scanning the area because it was too dark. When we reached the bottom floor, I cried out in pain. Something sharp was piercing my feet. I now knew why he didn't want me to have shoes.

"There's glass on the floor. I don't want you to get hurt if you fall." Damien smiled sarcastically.

"What?"

Without warning, he pushed me, and I fell face first into the glass. Fortunately, I caught myself with my hands as glass splintered into them. Ouch. Small globs of blood were beginning to pour from my hands. So this was my punishment huh? He picked me up and bared his fangs at me. Now I was scared, but I tried not to show it.

"I don't know why humans still continue to disobey me when I tell them not to."

I nearly laughed in his face. Why wouldn't they? This man was a monster, and I proved my point even more by what he did next. After he spoke he sunk his fangs into my neck. The pain was unreal. I could hear Damien growling the whole time he drank my blood, and I tried to pry him off of me. It was such a waste of time. I could feel all my energy draining and right before I was about to go limp he released me. I fell to the floor unable to pull myself up. I let the tears fall now.

"Stay away from me!" I yelled at him as I crawled backwards scrapping my hands and knees along the glass.

"Oh, babydoll...you don't get it that easy. You think I'm just going to bite you and then you would be dismissed?"

"Please I'm sorry. It won't happen again!"

He smiled, "I know."

He walked over to me and pulled me back to him dragging more of my skin on the glass. I could now see my blood along the floor. It was a small pool compared to the size of the room, but it was anything from small. He continued to pick me up and punch me causing me to fall to the floor. He would kick me until I was able to stand again, and then the process would repeat itself. My 'punishment' seemed to last forever until I couldn't stand up anymore. I looked up at

Damien as he kneeled down in front of me. I winced in pain. I thought he was going to hit me again.

"Your punishment is done. You may leave now."

The only problem was that I couldn't move. I think he realized when he wrapped his arms around my body and hoisted me into the air. He carried me up the stairs and to my room placing me down on the bed gently. I cried the whole time and when I looked at the spot on his shirt where my head rested I could see the tear streaks.

"Don't try to escape again." He said in a gentle tone I didn't like.

I just nodded. I'm getting out of here no matter what the cost is. I want to be free and dammit if I wasn't going to get just what I wanted. I would just have to plan more carefully. Only problem was that  Damien knew that I would try to escape now. Could I outsmart him? Probably...but damn if my luck hasn't been on my side lately because  the next week was even worse.
