"oh ? your finally back at school?" Jaehwa looked up from her phone, looking at the student who had said her name.

"yea, i was discharged from the hospital last week." the student nods, walking away from the girl.

truth be told, jaehwa was waiting for seokhoon, looking at her phone ever so often to see if he had arrived at school yet.

students would pass her, jaehwa waving hi if they had greeted her. it was like she had never done anything wrong, and it was super weird to her. "jae." she turned around, spotting her boyfriend.

"i hate being here." Seokhoon giggles, grabbing the girls hand. "we're almost done." Jaehwa nods, the two walking to class.

not much had happened since Jaehwa was discharged from the hospital, the girl only going back yesterday for a check up. "did you already submit your application to Julliard?" Seokhoon nods, the two walking into class.

Jenny was grabbing her things from out of her locker, stuffing it into a bag, "jenny?" the mentioned girl looks over, but continues to stuff her bag, ignoring Jaehwa.

Jaehwa approaches jenny, wanting to know what was wrong, "Jenny." the already upset girl pushes her to the side, her eyes filling slightly with water. "leave me alone." jenny shuts her locker, standing from the floor.

"i never wanna see your face again." the venom dripping from her voice scared Jaehwa, Jenny shoving her out of the way. the girl walked out of the classroom, the room staying silent. "are you okay?" Jaehwa nods, answering her boyfriend.

Jenny continued to walk forward, Jaehwa peaking down the hallway. "She'll be fine, she's probably just going through something." Jaehwa nodded, turning back to her boyfriend.

"is my seat still open?" Seokhoon nods, leading her to where she always sits, "always." Jaehwa smiles, sitting down in the desk, Seokhoon sitting to the desk next to her.

"How has everyone been?" Seokhoon shrugs, opening one of his many study guides. 

"this is something we've been going over for like the past two weeks." Jaehwa nods, grabbing the notebook. "thanks." She smiles at the boy, Seokhoon smiling back at her. 

"make sure to study that. our teacher said we had a test at the end of the week." Jaehwa heavily sighed, almost banging her head on the table, but Seokhoon caught her forehead. 

"Are you insane? What if your scars open up again?" Jaehwa just lays on his hand, the school bell ringing. 

Yihwa and Jumin walk in, Minhyuk walking in right after. "I feel like I only saw you this morning at home, and never saw you again." Yihwa hugged her sister, sitting right next to her. 

"Have you always sat there?" Yihwa nods, grabbing stuff to put on her desk. 

"I was the one who originally saved it for you, Seokhoon just got to you first to say he saved it for you." Jaehwa shook her head, staring at her boyfriend, "Are you serious?" 

Seokhoon avoids her eyes, looking back at his study guide, "Wow..." Seokkyung walked in, sitting behind her brother. 

"Good morning to all of you." Jaehwa waves his to Seokkyung, but Seokhoon ignores her. 

"Are you still mad at me?" Seokkyung asked her brother. Jaehwa was confused, why would Seokhoon be mad? 

"What happened?" Seokhoon shakes his head, continuing to study. This just confused Jaehwa more. She turned to Seokkyung, the girl already pouting at her. 

"What did you do?" Seokkyung's shoulders drop and she crosses her arms over her chest. "He's so butt hurt." Jaehwa was still lost, urging her to continue. 

"I'm still in contact with my dad." Jaehwa's face switched to disgust, but dropped it, wanting to talk to Seokkyung properly. 

"i heard about that, why are you talking to him again?" Seokkyung was fiddling with her skirt, which Jaehwa knew was a sign. She was about to lie, but she would let her. 

If Seokkyung was really going to lie to her, then it was her decision. Jaehwa would just ask again in private, "he reached out to me first. said he would help me get into college because my mom took away my principal freebie." 

Jaehwa nodded, wondering why SuRyeon took away the pass, especially because it was her daughter. Jaehwa turned towards her boyfriend, wanting to ask him next. "Why are you mad?" 

"because she's in contact with a man that continuously hurt us growing up." Seokkyung sighed, forcing her brother to face her.

"Yes that did happen, but ever since he went to jail, he hasn't done anything since." Seokhoon scoffed, staring straight at his sister. 

"So you're just able to forgive? Just like that?" Seokkyung tries to speak up, but Seokhoon just turns around, ignoring his sister.

Jaehwa mouths the word sorry towards the girl, turning towards the front, "it's not nice to ignore your sister." Seokhoon ends up ignoring Jaehwa as well, and the teacher walks in. 

"Oh, Lim Jaehwa. You're back." Mr. Ma Du Gi noticed the girl first, greeting her. 

"Good morning Mr. Ma." Jaehwa greets back, so he decides to start the class.

"I'm sorry." Jaehwa shakes her head, waving off Seokkyung, "Don't worry about it. I can see where you're coming from." Seokkyung nods her head, slouching into her chair. 

"I just want to play it safe. I know I'm good enough, but as long as I have my dad there as well then I'm 200% more likely to get into the program." Jaehwa nods, scrolling through her phone. 

"I could've helped as well." Seokkyung shakes her head, taking a bite from her bingsu. 

"You have your own dreams and aspirations, you better use that to your own advantage." Jaehwa laughs, placing her phone down.

"I'll always believe in you Kyung." The two girls smile, continuing to talk over their bingsu.
