As Kate draws her bow, ready to take her shot, she hesitates. She looks at the blonde in front of her and it feels as if the world has shifted. Color fills every part of her sight, everything brighter than before. Kate's eyes widen as the girl shakes her head slowly, before leaving the fight. After that her world comes crashing around her. Clint ending their partnership was one thing, but her mom looked almost happy when she told her.

She headed back to her apartment, slowly, after being patched up. Something felt off as she opened the door. Kate walked in and looked around, she hears "Kate Bishop" from behind her, startled, she grabs the closest thing to her, which happened to be hot sauce, and hurtles it at the intruder only for it to be caught.

"Hiiiii" The blonde draws out playfully, "I made macaroni if you want some," Holding out the pot to Kate. She blinks, " I'm sorry, what?" Kate says, tone almost spiteful. "Well I was starving, and you took forever, so I wanted to make food," the blonde says as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. She walks over to where Kate is standing, "What do you want?" The woman looks at her "Relax Kate Bishop, I just want to talk," she says putting down the pot, "Are you really not hungry? That fight was so long," she pauses before saying, "It's really tasty, really tasty."

Kate looks down at the pot of food. " Yeah I know what boxed mac n cheese tastes like, okay I know it's delicious." She looks back up at the blonde, which is crazy knowing that she was blonde after not seeing color for her entire life. "Uh, forks, forks." she says looking around in Kate's kitchen. "Noo," she says, turning around, holding up a single fork, "You have one fork?" "I'm one person," Kate responds back, flabbergasted at the situation. The blonde turns back around saying, "That's so weird, Kate, this is not cutlery, this is not cutlery," she says carrying the fork and a packaged plastic spork with her.

"I am not just going to sit and have dinner with you after you tried to kill me, and then just broke into my house," The blonde, shocked says "I did not try to kill you, A, I put you on a wire to remove an obstacle," she takes a breathe, "and B, I did not break anything, I am way to talented for that, and C, stop being so defensive." She says waving her hand at Kate. "Okay, you're so hostile, I'm not going to hurt you, I promise," the woman pauses, "I don't have any weapons on me," she states, Kate gives her a skeptical look. "Okay, I take that back, I don't have any weapons currently in my hands," she says, showing them to Kate. She eyes the blonde's wrists, and the woman looks down at them too, "That's a lie also, come on take a fork, eat please, my Daddy says its good for you," she says sitting down.

Kate stands there, looking down at her soulmate, "You're probably thinking, what this is crazy, I am going to have dinner with the enemy, and she made some really good smelling macaroni," the woman states looking up at Kate. "But in all honesty if I wanted to kill you I-" Kate interrupts, "You would've already," "Right, right as you opened the door," she points, "I wouldn't have even had time to shut it," "No" The blonde chuckles, "I would have been dead," Kate says looking down at the chair next to her.

She finally sits down, picking up a fork to eat the food. She looks at it skeptically before putting some into her mouth, eyes widening, because the woman sitting across from her, really did make good macaroni. After a couple of bites she offers the pot back to the blonde, "I go?" "sure," "I can put hot sauce on it?" Kate nods her head. "Soo, we're soulmates-?" Kate starts out hesitantly, the statement turning into a question as she finishes. The woman sitting across from her stops eating and looks up, "Yes, we looked at eachother and saw colors, does not mean I love you Kate Bishop."

Kate sighs, "Do you just keep saying my whole name just to point out that you know it?" "Yes, I know a lot about you." she says matter of factly, "Mother: Elenore, lives on park and 41st, Father: Derek, Deceased, very sad, and you recently walked into traffic to save a dog, which I admit is pretty cool and you get a few points from me on that".

"Thank you, are you in New York to talk to clint? Is that why you're here?" Kate asks. "No, no, no, no, no, no, I'm here to kill him," the blonde states, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I have a question for you, what is it, why do you risk your life for him, Clint Barton?" she asks, "How has everyone forgiven him for his past?" Kate looks at her before saying "He saved the world".

The blonde looks at her "No, my sister saved the world, Natasha Romanoff saved the world, stop looking so surprised, it does not look so cool". "You're really Natasha's sister?" Kate asks, surprised. "Yes". "Wow I did not see this coming, thank god I didn't kill you up there," When the woman across from her starts laughing, Kate can't help but smile, because she made her soulmate laugh. "You kill me? Kate Bishop you are so funny," she says in between chuckles. "Natasha and Clint were friends, why are you after him?" she questions.

The blonde tilts her head, "You are so fond of him, it tells me you don't really know who he is." "He came out here to protect me," Kate states. "No, he came out here to protect his reputation, do you know how many people he killed? The trail of blood that follows him could wrap around the entire world." "That was very Russian," Kate says with slight amusement. The woman agrees quietly. "He's still an avenger-" "What does that word even mean? That it holds so much power," The blonde asks with aggression. "You call him a hero no matter what he does?"

Kate looks at her, "When you face the kind of threats that he had, there is going to be collateral damage," she realizes what she said, but it's too late to take it back. "My sister is gone because of him," The blonde states angrily. "No, no, that is no-" "She's gone, is she collateral damage?" "Look, there is no way he would let that happen," Kate says questioningly. "How long have you known Clint Barton?" The blonde asks. Kate answers, "About a week". The woman looks down, "It won't be difficult for me to finish this assignment". "Woah, wait a minute someone hired you to kill him? If there is someone out there telling you that Clint is a bad guy, maybe you should look into the kind of person hired you,"

Kate takes a breath, "He is not perfect, nobody is perfect, but he is good," She says and looks at her soulmate. "However he convinced you about who he is, or how many people think or call him a hero, it doesn't matter. We are defined by what we do, not by nice words, like it or not there is no escaping this".

The blonde says, "So where is he?" She asks. "I don't know," Kate says solemnly, "Okay, Thank you for the girls night, truely," The blonde gives Kate a small smile as she gets up and walks over to the window. She turns around and looks at Kate, "Oh, and Kate Bishop, do not get in my way again," she says as she leaves out the window. Kate sighs, "My soulmate wants to kill Clint, holy shit".
