3rd person POV
"We almost had him!! " Ink huffed in an angry tone. Almost telling everyone who was still there that if they spoke badly about the mission they were dead, even if he couldn't bring himself to harm an innocent creation.
"Yeah!! Sad that he retreated so early, we could have had him!" Dream said in odd reassurance.
They had fought for around an hour. No casualties. Error hadn't even fought back, but of course, Ink hadn't noticed. When Blue realized, he left, saying, "Uhhh... My Papyrus must be calling!!" while Stretch WAS IN THE FIGHT, ALSO BEATING UP ERROR. He was never good at excuses, Error told him not to intervene when he let Blue go, so he tried his best not to. It's not like they were THAT close, Blue just couldn't stand hurting what he deemed 'innocent'.
Error had resorted to teleporting anywhere that wasn't in that Underfell copy... he had teleported to Waterfall... "Not this place again... Not sure what AU, but that's fine." He thought.
During the battle Error was really just getting beat up by at least 20+ Sanses and a few Papyrus's. He dodged around 90% of their attacks but the ones that hit were usually inescapable, and painful.
He had a few broken ribs, an arm, a leg, his skull was cracked again and he had a few other injuries.
Sure, he healed at least 10x faster than a normal monster, but with these injuries he would be out for a few weeks, maybe 8 days if he pushed it. That's too long. He couldn't contact Fresh to ask him to help with the destruction. The Multiverse could be gone if he didn't destroy. "The balance... the AU's..." let's just say he'll have to go out with a few broken bones. He pulled himself out of his thoughts and tried looking around.
When he did, he could feel sharp pain go through his skull, as if someone stabbed him at the back of his neck, the shock going up his head and down his spine.
"@GH-!" Error yelped, trying not to make much sound. If anyone found him they'd call Ink and he'd be out of the loop for longer than 8 days. So he just settled for sitting close to a waterfall in agonizing pain.
"Huh- There's a tutu here. Funny. Ugh, off track already, back to the problem..."
"Maybe if I stay here for a few days-" he cut off that thought.
"Ah- who am I kidding, I can't stay in an AU, someone would attack me. I'll be found soon if I don't leave..." he decided to stay for the bare minimum amount of time, just enough time so then he could move somewhat normally.
As he was sitting there he could hear faint voices. He brushed them off as just the voices in his head, but then he heard them get closer... and closer. Wait- he'd never heard those voices before...
When he realized this he nearly jolted up and tried to make a portal, nope- nothing happened. "Okay, then, I'll hide," he thought, panicking as he stumbled and hid behind the waterfall he was sitting next to. Water in the underground always had a glow to it, making it harder to see through, so he would just have to hope the people coming near him wouldn't look too hard at the water, and hope they wouldn't notice the super dark colors... and... static/glitching sounds from behind the water... maybe hiding isn't such a good idea...
"Too late now I guess, just do something that doesn't look suspicious... knitting... maybe?? No, I'll look dumb... reading? Yeah, reading, I think I have a book somewhere," when Ink comes to the AU's and Error's not destroying it, He likes to pull out a book called 'how to kill- DESTROY your worst enemy' you know... as a joke. This time it's not a joke, he hides behind the waterfall and takes out the book, which he immediately gets blood on.
