Ch.6 Tipping Point

Cyra's Pov

In A Forest

Nora: (yawned) "Another day, another adventure!"

Ruby: "What's on the agenda today?"

Jaune: "Walking!"

Nora: "With a side of.. ?"

Ren: "Walking."

Ruby hung her head and sighed.

Ruby: "Haven is a lot farther away than I thought."

Ren: "Ruby... How long did you think our journey would last?"

Ruby: "I don't know! I grew up in a small area; I've never been this far away from home."

Jaune: "Right but... how long?"

Ruby: "Maybe like, uh... Two weeks?"

Jaune: "What?!"

Ruby: "Okay fine, three or something! Look, whatever."

Ruby: "Hey, what's that?"

Nora, Jaune, Ren, me, Razor, and Ruby looked at a village nearby.

Jaune: "That's strange... I didn't think we'd be hitting another village for a few days."

Nora: "Are those buildings... damaged?"

Jaune: "We should search for survivors!"

We all ran to the village. We entered the village to see multiple frames of houses and other buildings. We all looked around.

Ruby: "Anything?"

Razor: "Nothing!"

Nora/Cyra: "Nothing over here!"

Jaune: "No one over here either!"

We met up in the middle of town.

Ren: "It almost seems like the town was abandoned."

They found a sign that said 'Oniyuri!

Nora: "Oniyuri? Never heard of it.."

Jaune: "Me neither."

Ren: "I have.... You might think of it as Anima's Mountain Glenn... had it never been completed. Years ago, the riches members of Mistral were unhappy with how the kingdom was being run."

The village building all looks to be incomplete.

Ren: "Frustrated with the council, they pulled their resources together to build their own city but their own laws. They'd hoped that one day it could maybe become its own kingdom. Many thought it would be the future..."

Ren walks away from the group.

Ren: "I know my parents did."

Ruby: "What happened?"

Ren sweeps away the dust to reveal scratch marks on one of the pavements.

Ren: "What always happens.."

Jaune: "The Grimm..."

Ren clenches both his hand angrily.

Ren: "Not just anyone..."

Nora seems to know what Ren was talking about and it made Ruby curious.

Ruby: "One?"

A flock of crows flies over them.

Jaune: "Come on. Let's just get through here. This place gives me the creeps."

They all then one by one went with Jaune. Ruby looks back at the village and the path that leads back to Hegen Bana. She then followed the rest. The group kept walking until they reach what appears to be the centre of the village.
