Karen came rushing back down the stairs.
Kenny quickly let go of the hug and put his mask back on.
Kenny: Sorry baby.
Butters: Why....do you have to wear it around your family?
Kenny went silent.
Kenny: I just do...*pulls up his hood* It's just normal for them to not see my face.
Butters: Oh...
Carol: Oh! Kenny! I uh... Didn't know you'd be here this morning. Why aren't you at school
Kenny: Butters wasn't feeling go, so I thought I could take care of him for the day.
Carol: Why couldn't Butter's parents just take care of him.

Mrs. McCormick didn't question any of that, she just walked past the couch and helped Karen put on her shoes.

Kenny grabbed the hand that Butters had shot Clyde with.

Butter: I'm sorry Ken.
Karen: KENNY! KENNY! LOOK! Mama said that she found some new shoes within afford!
Butters: I'm sorry to butt in, but, if you guys ever need something, I can always get it for you guys. You shouldn't be wasting your money.
Carol: Oh! Butters, we really shouldn't!

Karen: Hey Ken? You okay?
Kenny didn't realize he'd been crying.
Carol: Yeah Yeah he's fine, C'mon Karen your bus is gonna come soon. You don't want to be late!
Butters: *looks over at Kenny* bae... *Puts his hand on Kenny's face and wipes his one tear* It's okay Ken. It'll be okay.
