You didn't walk into the flower shop with the intention of getting a date, yet here you stood with a bouquet of begonias and roses and a hastily scribbled note. You glanced at the handkerchief in your hand, upon which his name and number was written. You didn't know what cloth it was made of but it sure felt expensive, and though rushed, his handwriting would've made the Archons proud.

"Diluc Ragnvindr

×××-××××-×××"

The man had seemed familiar, but you couldn't put your finger on it. The scent of fine wine was quite prominent on him, which did slightly worry you about the drinking habits of the person you just exchanged numbers with.

Diluc had come into the flower shop earlier while you were picking out some [favorite flowers] to decorate your new apartment with. He seemed to have originally came for different reasons, but he ended up buying you a bouquet, followed by asking you for your number. He looked directly into your eyes, tugging at the fingertips of his glove with a blush tinting his cheeks. You were surprised at how straightforward he was to be honest, but he was pretty cute. You agreed to give him your number and asked for his in turn when a blue-haired man with an eyepatch burst inside and called to Diluc, something about running late.

Diluc quickly took out his handkerchief and prompted you for your number as he jotted down his. You asked him if he wanted you to save it in his phone as he handed you the handkerchief. He simply rolled up his sleeve and offered you the pen, gesturing at his wrist with it. Your hands shivered but your face filled with warmth as you held his hand in yours and wrote down your number and name. What a strange way.

You quickly averted your gaze to a very interesting flower vase, your face still flushed. He took a glance at the writing on his wrist and smiled softly. "Y/N L/N." He whispered your name, only to be urged by the eyepatch man again. "I suppose I'll just have to text you later." He politely nodded and you smiled in response.

"I'm looking forward to it."

He had given you one last glance before rushing out with the eyepatch man.

You left the flower shop as well shortly after his exit, no longer needing to buy flowers. You were still pondering over the interaction. Now that you had thought about it, both of them were wearing full suits. Were they heading somewhere important? And who was that eyepatch man? And why did Diluc seem so familiar yet smelt of wine? You didn't know anyone who drank, apart from a certain friend that is. You shook your head. There was no need to dwell on it. Especially when you had to finish setting up your apartment within two weeks, before your job at Dawn Winery starts.

Your father apparently had connections there and had given you a letter of recommendation in case you ever needed a job quickly. And you did. Right after college, you sent an application and shortly after the interview got accepted near immediately, most likely due to the letter. You supposed you were just super lucky that there was a vacant position in your field when you applied. It was a relief, you wanted to get away from your mother as soon as possible, and upon being accepted you had an excuse to move. She wasn't a bad person per se, but she was a bit… overbearing, and it was suffocating. You just wanted freedom, you wanted to live the way you want. Now you have your own apartment in Mondstadt, a good job, and a potential date.

You arrived back at your new home, but another person was standing at the door waiting. The short guy wore a bright green hoodie with a Starbucks drink printed on the front and white sweatpants, he had a cecilia braided into his navy blue hair that faded to a neon cyan at the tips.
