I have a few things I'd like to say before we start the book.
First and foremost, a word of warning.
This fanfic will contain disturbing and potentially triggering themes such as self-harm, mentions of death and suicide, murder, non-con, and the like after one point.
I mean obviously they'll be present even before that one point, but they aren't as prominent. After that point they'll be much more noticeable.
These are part of the whole yandere trope in this fanfic. I will put a trigger warning in the start of the chapter where things begin to go to shit.
Second, I own none of the characters except Y/N, kind of. I guess we kinda have shared ownership since Y/N is the reader yet at the same time a character in their own right.
Third, this is a Diluc×Reader as stated in the title. If you're here I'm sure most of you are also simps like myself and have read your fair share of self-inserts, but just in case anyone out there needs help, here are some terms I'll be using commonly to clear up any confusion:
Y/N = Your Name
L/N = Last Name
H/C = Hair Color
E/C = Eye Color
F/C = Favorite Color
F/S = Favorite Snack
F/D = Favorite Drink
If there's any one time usages, I'll write it like [favorite show] without any shortcuts.
Fourth, I will not be writing smut. Spicy scenes, yes, but I will not write anything directly... you know if you know.
