It had been a tiring day after the so-called 'engagement ceremony' and Hoseok was tired. He reached his apartment after the party was over and freshened up. He was about to go to bed and call it a night when his phone started ringing.
He groaned as he got up and picked up his phone from the nightstand to see the caller id.
'Jungkook'.
He squinted his eyes in confusion before answering the call. His eyes widened as soon as he heard hiccups and sobs from the other side.
He immediately knew something was wrong, and all his worries and doubts were infused by a feeling of protectiveness. He quickly asked what was wrong and promised to do whatever it took to help him.
But Jungkook just kept crying and crying.
"Jungkook! Calm down! What happened? Just speak to me!" he politely asked, trying not to create more tension.
"H-hyung! I-I messed up e-everything!" Jungkook cried out, sobbing into the phone speaker.

"Listen Jungkook! Calm down okay? I'm coming to your place within a few minutes.
With that, he grabbed his car keys and hurried downstairs to his car. His sleep and tiredness long forgotten.
He drove like a maniac to reach Jungkook's place in record time. As he arrived, he saw that Jungkook's apartment door was already open and Jungkook was sitting on the floor of his bedroom hugging his knees and sobbing.
He sighed and walked towards the crying boy. He sat by his side and embraced him tightly. Jungkook was still crying like a baby. Hoseok was obviously in a hurry to get to Jungkook in order to help him in his time of need.
He could sense that something was wrong and was determined to get there as soon as possible. He knew that the only thing he could do in that moment was to be there for Jungkook and provide him with the comfort and support he needed.
"What happened?" he asked.
