Preface
When the sun sets behind the clouds leaving only a few rays peeking through and the gentle breeze from the morning dawn stills into a soundless whisper, for most it is a time to curl into soft linens laying tired heads on pillows fluffed with cotton.
Indeed, this would be a time that most would drift into their mind entering a place not even they can explain. It is a place where dreams come alive, and life is of no restraint. Whether it be off flying through the sky on wings as strong as an eagle, or braving the monsters that lurk deep inside them, a sword at hand and courage in their soul, all is welcome here. The same goes for me and everyone that dwells in Kairos, but for some it is not the end of the day, for the adventure is only beginning. And for those that would like to dabble in those adventures with me I invite you along, but be on your guard, for you never know what might happen when you enter Kairos.

Roya's Journal
The golden sun peeks over the horizon just like it does every morning. I rise early everyday just to see it. It's a nice way of starting the day, although my day pretty much consists of the same thing... which is not that much. Most of what I am meant to do while the sun is overhead is be an example to all the people who dwell in Oneria, the Land of Dreams. I am to rise early, with a balanced breakfast; Something light such as a cut of bread with some berries on the side, a glass fresh squeezed orange juice with a hint of honeysuckle. Nothing more, nothing less.
After that, I am instructed to leave the chapel, taking a stroll around the village. Seeing the people that I know so intimately outside of their dreams was an odd experience when I first started to walk people through their shadowed slumbers, but now I have grown to like it. Just like every other day I meditate for the middle hours of the day, praying to the spirits of the elements to center my mind in preparation for my next night. You might be asking yourself what I do exactly? What is my role? And, for years I have been asking myself the same question. To me, all this preparation seemed silly. My mom, the great Nobel of the Land of Dreams, would walk me through this routine every day. After breakfast I would still be hungry and during prayer and meditation I would fall asleep. I guess you could say that when I was a child I made a pretty lousy walker, but I've got to say, I think I've got the hang of this.
When I reached the age of adulthood, I was finally told my place; my purpose. I remember the day so vividly, it is still one of the events I find myself meditating on, and one of the first things I thank the spirits for when I wake up.
I don't have my own dreams. It is something I have come to terms with, but now I see it as the biggest blessing upon me. Every night, when the rest of Kairos goes to bed, their day has ended, the cool breeze of the night air lulling them to sleep. I can feel it happen. I too, go to sleep when the sun sets, but instead of entering my own mind, I was blessed with the ability to walk other people through their dreams. I get to enter their own fantasy with them and experience every desire they have right next to them. Along with the title of walker, and the young lady of the Land of Dreams comes my exhaustion. Through the years it has gotten better.
When I first started becoming a walker I would sleep the day away in a silent hypnosis, just so I could feel a little bit better the next night to do it all over again. But now, as I stand leaning on the balcony railing, I feel more relaxed than ever. Another night of happy smiles and angelic laughter. I have found a way to make that into my energy. To make their joy into my joy, and looking over the edge, the sun's rays burning through, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
