Page after page, ink glide after ink glide, and nothing seems to be availing. I was able to plot out onto a spare map that they had, drawing my own ink glides over it. The lands in Kairos run through my mind as I tried to figure out where the young Lord of Nightmares might want to go in search for destruction.

Of course the first place that came to mind was Oneria. That's where the earthquakes are happening and that's the place where his rage is targeted. It would be a good idea to keep close. But then again, the danger of being caught especially in a place where even the mention of Deorcaya sends the town's people into a tizzy... it's probably not very wise of him to camp out there.

He must be channeling his power though somewhere else. Omni was my next guess. The Land of the Present holds countless different species and kinds. Fitting in there would be a perfect place to hide without much hassle. But something tells me that if the Lord of Nightmares walked upon the same road as the people of Omni, he would be discovered right away. The town's people in Omni are too excited, just like the tiny fairy that called me out when I first arrived.

I smile. It's not that they are nosy, it's just that Omni is the only place where there is no leader. Everyone is free in their own right. They don't work for anyone but themselves, and they are happy like that. Some even prefer not to work at all and instead decided to homestead as much as they can. If Altair went to Omni, I would have definitely heard about it by now... and so would everyone else in Kairos.

Besides Deorcaya, which Altair obviously isn't in that only leaves Memoria, the Land of Memories and Olvina, Land of the forgotten. Both of which don't make any sense. Olvina is the most feared place in all of Kairos, even more feared than Deorcaya, which in turn is not really feeling that frightening after all. Olvian is a place where only the most lost souls go. Whether they find their way to it on their own, willingly ready to be swept into the mist and soon forgotten, or they are banished there, it is not a place anyone would like to be. And, I don't think he would hold any power if his soul was lost in Olvian. Even so, I must take it into consideration because if he is there, it's only a matter of time before we all start to forget him.

Altair left on his own free will, and according to the king and whoever this old lady is, he seems to have a bit of an attitude under his belt. Being forgotten doesn't seem like an option he would go for. But, that only leaves Memoria, Land of Memories. I can't seem to find an explanation as to why the Lord of Nightmares, a person with so much rage in their heart would want to run away to Memoria. I have only been there a handful of times. It's one of the most peaceful places there is in Kairos, Oneria coming in as a close second. Memoria doesn't have any inhabitants. It's a place for you and only you, and I have heard it look different for every soul. Some recall it to look like a thick fog, almost getting lost in their path while others recall it to be the most heartfelt, joyous place they have ever seen.
