The following evening.
It's like a scene from a horror movie. As I step outside of the door onto the newly remodeled patio, I look up and see the sky becoming dark and angry. A loud clap of thunder echos through the dark of night and the lightening soon lights up the darkness. It's not long until the wind soon begins to howl and the leaves on the dampened ground begin to fly in every direction.
"Well, I really couldn't ask for a better scenery as I'm torturing those who decided to get stuck on stupid and betray me," I whisper as I lift the small crystal glass of whiskey to my lips.
"Hello, brother," her annoying voice says from behind me. My hand tightens around the crystal glass, and I grit my teeth.
"Darlene. You ready to do this?"
"I am more than ready. The guys downstairs with Roxie?" She asks with excitement in her tone.
"Yes. And believe me, we are all ready to inflict some major pain."
"Happy to hear that. So am I," she grins as I make my way past her and towards the basement door.
"Trust me, sister dear, those who have earned to be tortured, will be tortured," I assure her as I make my way down the steps. I hand her the key and she begin to laugh with excitement as her fingers unlocks the torture room. Her smile soon fades to shock as she flips the light on."My God, Dom, she's gone. Where the hell is Roxanna?" Her angered voice shouts as her eyes glare.
"Oh, don't worry, sister. Roxanna is exactly where she belongs," I grin.
"What? Dom, you killed her without me?"
"No, of course not, Darlene. I mean what kind of brother would I be if I stabbed you in the back by taking all of your fun away. It's not like you would ever do anything to ever betray me, right? So therefore, I would never betray you in any way."
"Dom, why are you looking at me like that? With such contempt."
"Like what? Is this the look of I know you have been lying to me for years and I also know all of your dirty little secrets? That's the thing about having dirty little secrets. Eventually, secrets have a way of coming to light. They don't stay hidden forever. Sure, some may stay hidden longer than others, but sooner or later, they come to light, Darlene."
"Dom you're rambling. I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't have any secrets," she lies. I step closer to her. My hand grabs the back of her hair.
"I want you to look at me, Darlene. Now, you tell me who I am."
"W-what, Dom?" I pull her head back causing her to gasp.
"Who the hell am I, Darlene?"
"Oh God, please, Dominic."
"Dominic what, you vile lying bitch?"
"You're Dominic Bradford. Someone who doesn't stand for being betrayed by anyone."
"That's right. So, this is how this is going to play out. You are going to give me the names of everyone who is stupid enough to get themselves involved with your cruel actions, or so help me, I will have no problem thinking of new fun ways to torture you. I want every single name, I mean it. I already know one name." I say and watch her eyes widen.
"Natalie?"
"Yes, I know she is alive, and I know she is in this with you. Who else, Darlene? Don't you dare think about lying to me," I snap.
"Some people you don't know Dom."
"I don't give a damn if I know them or not, Darlene. I want their names, now."
"Darius Conner, Milo Thomas, Stella Romano."
"And?"
"Dom, please, I swear that's all."
"I do not believe you. I can see it in your eyes. There is someone you don't want me to know about. Who is it, Darlene?"
"Just kill me now, Dominic. I'm dead if I tell you or if I don't tell you. I'm not the only one who has been betraying you. Someone else has also been betraying you. Someone you completely trust."
"Darlene, this is your last warning. You and I both know how creative I can get. You also know I how viciously angry I become when someone hurts the people I love. I might not love many people, but when I do love someone and they are either being threatened or worse, they are being hurt by my enemies, I don't believe in showing any mercy. You are determined to make yourself my enemy. You have made that clear.""Dom, I'm your sister, please," she pleads. She falls back onto the wooden chair as I push her back.
"You know exactly what Addison meant to me. You knew it before I realized how deeply I had fallen in love with her. You also knew what Natalie meant to me and our son. The bitch can now burn in hell for all I care. There are two people on the face of this earth who I will fight to the death to have back. Number one, Franco, my son. Number two, Addison, my wife. You are going to do whatever it takes to help me get my son and my wife back, or I swear to you, Darlene, I will greatly enjoy inflicting the worst pain upon you that I can. Now, with that being said, you will tell me who your partner in crime is. I want a name. NOW."
"Dom please. If I give you his name, he will kill me. But not before he tortures me."
"Somehow, I just can't seem to give a dam. Try and imagine what I will do to you if you keep refusing to give me a name."
"What's the point, your son and wife are never coming back. Addison is dead, and Franco is who knows where by now. Just let them go, Dom," she stupidly growls. A gasp soon escapes her lips as I pull out my gun and place it to her forehead.
"In case you're a little confused, Darlene, you are not one of the people I love. Your death means nothing to me. My son and my wife mean everything to me. So, let's try this again, who the hell has been helping you?"
"Stephano, she whispers.
"Oh my God. What? No way. You're lying, Darlene."
"No, I'm not lying, It's Stephano, Dominic. He is the person who is helping me."
"Son of a bitch. Darlene, if you're lying to me."
" I swear I'm not lying to you, Dominic. How do you think I was so easily able to pull this off? I had help from someone you trusted with your families' lives."
"Dear God. I am about to release pure hell on those who betrayed me. I am out for blood."
"This won't bring Franco and Addison back, Dom," she shouts. My hand soon wraps around her throat.
"You want to bet it won't? Tick tock you backstabbing lying bitch. The sand in your hourglass will eventually run out along with Stephano's. And when it does, you will become a bad memory."
"You might want to think about your next move against me, Dominic. One word from me your son will die just like your wife. And I promise his death will be much more painful than Addison's," she smirks as she pulls my fingers from her throat.
"So be it, Darlene."
"So, be it what, Dominic?"
"You want a war with me? You got it." Just remember all the pain and suffering and torture I'm about to inflict on you, you brought this all on yourself. Are you forgetting I know about that daughter of yours?" I grin and watch her eyes widen.
"Oh God, Dominic, please no. You would never hurt her."
"No, you're right, Darlene. I would never hurt her. But the choices you make from now on, will determine if you ever see Serena again. You really need to understand what a fatal mistake it is to threaten my family. Make your choice now, Darlene. Do you want me showing you the monster in me?" I glare. She steps back forcing the lump down her throat.
"Natalie and Stephano know where your son is."
"Is Natalie with Stephano?"
"Yes. This isn't going to be as easy as you think Dominic. You know Stephano."
"I do know him. Like I said before, I can get very creative."
"Was he involved with you shooting Addison?"
"Yes. He gave me the gun."
"Well, you do know there is no coming back from this, Darlene. You really made the ultimate fatal mistake."
"What are you planning to do to me, Dominic?"
"Something that will force you to regret betraying me. Your days are numbered, sis."
"I'm so sorry, Dominic."
You're not sorry for betraying me. You're sorry because I busted you. And now, I see you as my enemy and a big threat to my family. You know I will never let you get away with what you chose to do to me and my family. You just became another death waiting to happen.""Please, Dom, I'm your sister."
"No, not anymore. Like I said, you made yourself my enemy. And you know how I handle my enemies."
"I will do whatever you tell me to do, Dominic."
"You're damn right you will do whatever I tell you to do. In case you're thinking there will be that moment when I'm not watch your every move, think again. Your nightmare is just beginning, Darlene. I'm your nightmare."
