~ 9. Downfall ~

Finally, that fucker should be gone for good.

"Hey, aim properly!" Chishiya creeps up far behind Niragi. "Aren't you sick of bullying the weak already?"

"Ugh, you're still here. What do you want, queer?" Niragi sighs, not taking his eyes off of his gun. "You really get on my nerves." He finally puts his gun down and turns to face Chishiya. "All the goddamn time. You always act as if you're so clever."

"But I am clever." Chishiya argues back with a smug look on his face, his hands shoved in his pockets.

"Perfect." Niragi gets up from sitting on the floor and reloads his gun. "Let's put an end to this, shall we?" He slings his gun over his shoulder.

The group helplessly runs down the corridor, looking for Arisu, until Usagi suddenly stops.

"Sh." She raises her pointer finger. "I hear someone." The others all look around confused. A faint "Hey!" was heard.

"I hear it too." Niko pipes up. Usagi then runs to the nearest door and puts her ear against it to see if she can hear anything any better. She runs from door to door until she finds one.

"He's in here!" She turns to the group. "Arisu!" She screams as she tries to open the door but can't because it's locked. "The door won't budge." The militants then find them; they shoot, but they don't hit anyone.

The group scrambles, and Usagi runs into another room, which was unlocked, and tries to see if she could get out onto the window. She makes a risky jump but makes it and enters through the window to find Arisu. She discovered him on the floor and gave him the biggest hug. The group then rejoins in another room and discusses what the witch would do.

"The main power supply has changed since the game started." Chishiya presents facts. The pair are now standing opposite each other.

"So?" Niragi questions.

"Our electricity used to be powered by generators. Now it comes from the hotel's main power source. This means the ones in charge of the game snuck onto the beach to control the power in the basement." Chishiya explains to the other

"What are you trying to say?"

"I'm talking about who the witch is, of course. What else do we need to care for?" Chishiya states the obvious.

"You're insinuating that I'm the witch, right? Sorry but that's not possible." He removes his gun from his shoulder and places it in his hands.

"Only executives have information on the main power supply management. In the first place, only you guys have the key to the underground. So I'll kill all the executive members, starting with you."

"Your boyfriend could be the witch, since he's also an executive." Chishiya was silent. Niragi then props up his gun more, trying to scare Chishiya. "Do you think that I can't aim at a short distance with this rifle?"

"Yep." Chishiya appeared unfazed at the time. Out of nowhere, he starts charging at Niragi and grabs the cards out of his pocket.

"You idiot!" Niragi yells. Chishiya then tosses the cards in the air, making Niragi look up. "What the hell was that?" He then grabs the firegun thing that he made and starts shooting it at Niragi. Niragi then starts to burn because of the fire and starts flailing around, which causes him to fall off of the edge of the rooftop.

TIME REMAINING, 15 MINUTES

Everyone started to gather on the main part of the Beach. The militants were in one corner, while the rest of the members were in the other. Niko didn't want to get involved too much, so he decided to go and find Chishiya since it had been a while since he last saw him. Niko knew that Chishiya wasn't the type of person to get involved in chaos like this, so he knew that he would be doing something else to try to avoid the situation or hiding somewhere and watching from afar. From the tag game, Niko remembered that Chishiya liked to go to the highest point to see what was going on during the game, so he thought maybe Chishiya would do the same thing. So that's where he went—to the Beach's top floor. He looked around for a while until he found him, leaning against one of the pillars. He seemed really focused on what was going on, so Niko quietly walked up behind Chishiya and surprised him with a back hug.

"You made it back alright then." Niko hummed in response as he rested his chin on Chishiya's shoulder. The pair stayed in that position, watching the scene in front of them. Niko eventually got bored, so he decided to tease Chishiya a bit. He removed his chin from Chishiya's shoulder and started to kiss his neck lightly.

"Niko," Chishiya whispers. Hearing this, Niko starts to kiss his neck harder; Chishiya then whimpers quietly, trying not to make too much noise since there were a bunch of people below them. He then reverses their positions, with Niko pushed up against the pillar and Chishiya topping the other. "Watch it, sweetheart." Chishiya smirks at Niko. Given current circumstances, the two began to make out with no hesitation. Niko's hands reached their way up to Chishiya's bleach-blonde hair, tangled in it, and pulled Chishiya in closer to deepen the kiss. As Chishiya's tongue starts to enter Niko's mouth, the pair hears a loud bang, so they stop in their tracks and hurry to look over the railing. When they looked over, they saw Asahi lying on the floor with 2 burned holes in her.

"Damn, it must have been the lasers." Niko states as he turns to face Chishiya, who has his mouth agape. How many more people have to die before they find out the real truth?
