Jeremy was pulled back from sleep by a struggling Katy.

"Hey, don't move, it's me, love," Jeremy whispered huskily as he tried to comfort Katy.

"Jeremy?"

"Good morning baby,"

"Oh, God! What happened? Why am I in your bed? I can't remember anything."

"Yesterday we went to Sam's house party, had a couple of drinks, and then one thing led to the other, and here we are," Jeremy explained. It was not the real truth as he had left out a lot of facts but the good thing is that nobody apart from him knew about the issue of him spiking Katy's drink.

Due to his big ego, the original body did not want anybody to know that he needed to resort to drugging a girl to lay her. So he did that all in secret, a secret that was going to rot in Jeremy's stomach forever now. There was no way he was telling Katy the truth, she would only hate him. Besides, he was not the original owner so why should he be punished on his behalf?

Katy started crying. Most people must have seen her leaving the party with Jeremy and her not returning to the dormitory last night. It was self-evident that she spent the night with him.

"Hey, hey...don't cry, love. It's going to be fine. I promise you," Jeremy consoled her.

He knew that this world was very conservative. Women who engaged in premarital sex were looked down on. Of course, it was different for men- double standards. There was only one solution to keep Katy's reputation.

"We are going to get married today. I already arranged it." Jeremy dropped the bomb on Katy in a bid to comfort her and stop her from crying.

"Married?" Katy asked in surprise.

"Yes, I already made arrangements. We will get married today."

"Are you serious? Are you going to marry me?" Katy asked in a shaky unsure voice. She loved Jeremy so much. She was not a fool and she knew that he did not seem to love her back. She did not know why he chose to chase after her. There were so many other beautiful girls on campus who wanted to date him.

All the girls he had previously been rumored with were so beautiful and classy. Unlike her, ordinary Katy, from a farming town back in the province. She was so ordinary, so out of his class that it had come as a complete shock when he had asked her out.

She had heard about him as soon as she joined University. Everyone knew him, Jeremy Powell, captain of the swimming team and always top of the dean's list.

The first time she saw him was during the freshman orientation at the start of the semester. He looked so handsome like a fallen angel. At over six feet tall, with a lean body, a chiseled jaw, hair the color of midnight, and grey cold eyes that seemed to pierce someone with their gaze, it was no wonder he was crowned the most beautiful man on campus by the girls. For her, it was an instant attraction. She could swear that electricity seemed to zap all over her body.

Never in her wildest dreams did she ever think that he would be interested in her. So it came as a surprise when he asked her out. Numbed with shock, she agreed to go out on a date with him.

Date after date they went, but it all felt unreal to him. After nearly three months of going out, she knew very little about him. All she knew about her boyfriend was what everyone else knew. It made her feel insecure and unsure of herself. Sometimes she felt like such an outsider in his life.

She knew people talked about them- waiting in bated breath for him to dump her. Many were the times she overheard girls maliciously speculating whether he would dump her, a pathetic Cinderella, after fucking her.

This coupled with her natural reserve made it so that she never went past a few chaste kisses with Jeremy. She could sense his growing impatience with her reluctance to take their intimacy further. But how could she explain to him that she was afraid, so afraid that if he got her body she would lose him?

So one can imagine the fear and despair she felt waking up naked in bed with Jeremy. For a moment she thought it was all over. Everyone at the party saw her leave with him. She did not know if she could face public ridicule. Then Jeremy blindsided her with a marriage proposal. Well, not a proposal as much as it seemed Jeremy was informing her.

But once the shock wore off, joy coursed through her. She knew that at eighteen she was too young to consider marriage, but it was marriage to Jeremy!

She knew herself, she loved him to the point of madness, and if he left her she would wither and die.
