[to jo: You stuck at the roadhouse today?][to charlie: Tell me you're not busy]
[to Castiel: wyd today?]
Dean was bored. It was the second day of spring break and he was already bored. He had already done the only real thing he had planned, to watch Star Wars in the machete order, but that only killed about 13 hours and now he was on day 2 of his spring break and he was bored. Everyone else had made real plans, but Dean's only plan was to shotgun a movie series.
"Not my brightest plan."
[from Castiel: Michael is making me clean the entire house before Balthazar's arrival later]
He thunked his head back onto his pillow and stared at the ceiling, waiting to feel his phone buzz again. He remembered Cas mentioning Balthazar would be here for the week, but now that the time had come he was struggling not nurture the pang of jealousy he felt in his stomach.
[from Charlie: I'm on hour 3 of a 24 hour stream, so yes?]
[from Jo: yeah, mom has me working all week, whats up]
He tossed his phone uselessly towards the end of his bed. So this is what the break is going to be like. Guess it's me and Sammy all week.
Dean padded down the stairs toward the kitchen, nearly tripping over Sam's bag at the foot of the stairs. Sam was sitting at the kitchen table with his shoes on, texting someone.
"You going somewhere?" Dean asked tentatively
"Yeah, going to Kevin's." He replied without looking up.
"You need a ride?"
"No I'm good."
"You sure? I'm not busy or nothing, I could drop you real quick."
"Andy's dad is picking me up on the way over, he should be here any minute."
"Oh." Dean said, dejected. "Do you want me to hang out with you until he gets here?"
Sam continued texting, eyes locked on his phone. Dean leaned over and looked at the screen, had to be some kind of group chat, the messages were flying so fast.
"I guess not."
"What, Dean?" Sam asked, finally lifting his gaze.
"Nothing. Have a good time, Sammy."
Dean headed back upstairs and flopped back onto his bed. Boring. Oh, Clarence might be free, that's definitely not boring.
He had been chatting more and more with Clarence recently late at night. He had installed Skype on his phone so he could perform a few activities more comfortable in bed than in a gaming chair and it definitely improved the quality of the "chats" they had been having.
[literallybatman] well hello there
He sent the message and stared at the little green dot by his name. Minutes passed. A car honked outside and he leaned up to look out the window just in time to see Sammy climb into Andy's dad's car.
C'mon man
He sighed and rolled over in his bed to smush his face into his pillow.
How is there nothing to do? How am I the only person in the entire city with nothing to do?
He shuffled around in bed and curled up in a ball. The webcam box on the edge of his desk made direct and burning eye contact with him. He had picked it up at Clarence's request but the idea of actually setting it up and using it left him an anxious mess. He had opened and promptly closed it when he bought it and every day he would move it back and forth from the desk to the bag on the floor. Eventually it wouldn't feel scary, and would instead feel fun. Not today though.
