In reality, she was about to do the inevitable. As soon as Sakura burst back into the Uchiha home, both she and Sasuke's parents were there. They were sharing a glass of sake, celebrating their upcoming merger of families.

Both families were having fun playing a game by placing a card with an animal on it, on their forehead. They had to guess which animal was on their face. Their cheeks flushed from all the laughing. Their atmosphere was pleasant, and they weren't aware of her coming into the room until she spoke.

Just like that the air around them grew cold. It was quiet too quiet. "Are you feeling any better?" Her mother chimed in, standing from her spot at the table.

"Yes, I have to tell you all something-"

"Where's Sasuke?" Mikoto glanced around the room expecting to see her son.

"We part ways... I have been lying to you all-"

"-Part ways? What do you mean?"

"He left-"

Mikoto rose she already knew where he went. "I'm sorry I have to cut this dinner party short," Fugaku tugged at his wife's kimono. He shook his head. "Let him be koi, we have gone too far with this."

Her head whipped around like an owl.

"Kyaa, I'm just worried about our son is all, sorry everyone." She polity escorted her guest from their home much to Sakura's protest. "Hey! W-wait! Mikotosan please!"

She shut the door behind her, turning to face her husband as her back remained leaning against the front door.

"What about our son's happiness?" Fugaku rebuked.

"I am thinking about his happiness." She objected before turning her back to her husband with no further words, she gave her husband a final glance before stepping through the threshold. Mikoto was hellbent as she marched down the village streets in the direction of the Hokage tower.

It was Mikoto who was determined for her son to see things her way. This was meticulously planned out by her. Her family wouldn't outright disown Naruto's children, but this was for the best since he was a wild spirit. The wayward blonde did not need to be tied down. At some point, his wild nature would take over and he'd yearn for freedom.

Three women marched through the village streets that night, with one leading the pack. Once they reached their destination, all three slowed down.

"What is this about?"

Naruto's voice rang out suddenly. Sasuke began yelling after Naruto started to. This prompted the three women to pound on the door frantically trying to get inside. The last thing they wanted was for those two to murder one another, just then the door was answered by one of the maids. "Oh, Tsunade-dono?" Her eyes landed on the second woman. "Rin-dono?"

"Are they in here?" The maid quickly bowed at the waist remaining in that position. "Yes."

The three of them walked past the maid who quickly averted her gaze and ran off.
