Chapter 2: Betrayal

Daniel's point of view

After 9 Days before Christmas. Daniel and Brandon became best friends. Everyday Daniel always walk by to Brandon's house so they can talk every single day. Christmas came in it was 11:40 me and mom celebrates Christmas. after minutes I heard a

*knock*

From the door. I dash in front of the door. I paused a little to sneak in the window. I saw Brandon and his family. I opened the door as they greeted me a Merry Christmas.

"Merry Christmas"
-Brandon

We greeted each other in place until my mom called us for midnight lunch. We talked a lot this hours until it's getting morning.

"We have to get going"
-Brandon's mom

"Okay bye"
-mother

as they went walking I started walking upstairs to my room to get some sleep.

8:30 am

*rrriinngg*

I heard this annoying ring from my alarm clock. I turned it off and went back to bed afterwards I suddenly remembered that I have to attend to my lessons in violin. I walked outside like I am was drunk I toast 2 bread and a hot cup milk my everyday routine. After that I took a bath and change my clothes

"Mom I'm going now"
-Daniel

I told to my mom

"Okay but be careful"
-mother

So I attended lessons (BTW I have lessons after Christmas it's crazy right)

After attending lessons I always walk by to Brandon's house
we played soo much

======3 years later=========

I and Brandon are always bestfriend we always go to school together and go back home together. I thought best friends are trustworthy until the day my frendship with Brandon broked into pieces.

Lunch time we always have lunch together until I waited him to have lunch with me. I noticed that it was almost time for the fourth period. So I went to Brandon's classroom I talked to his classmates if where brandon is they said that they went to the canteen where I was in. So I went back to the canteen and I stood frozen because I saw Brandon with somebody so I think that his just a friend don't worry Daniel he did not replaced you. So I went to my classroom and attend fourth period . When the teacher was talking I'm not listening (In short term day dreaming) why? because I was thinking about earlier. I wasn't listening to the teacher infact the teacher actually called me I now I didn't noticed it until he shouted at me thats the time I stopped day dreaming and apologized.

After school I realize that I am Brandon's best friend so I went to his classroom again and talked to his classmates again they said that he was with somebody again
so I flinch because I was worried that Brandon has a new best friend but I think that it's just his friends. So I quickly ran through the entrance and take a looked from side to side and saw nothing until I noticed faraway I saw Brandon with the same person that I saw in the canteen.
I dash through to keep up with them luckily they were just walking so I tried to talk to Brandon but he was to focused in talking to the stranger he was with so I went ahead and went home l. While I was walking I looked down and tears fell down I said to myself that this is first time feeling this.

Back infront of the house I just went in and didn't noticed my mother was just in front of me asking me if I'm alright but I still kept moving forward to my room. I'm in my room now I tried not to cry but this is my first time feeling this. I didn't cry I thought that I should visit Brandon to keep up with him. I fixed my clothes and wiped my tiny tears in my cheeks. I went downstairs to go outside but my mom asked me if I'm alright.

"Daniel are you alright you've been acting weird?"
-mother

My mom immediately asked me I was frozen still because I didn't know what to say.

"Y-yes what made you think that I -I'm not okay"
-Daniel

"Sure your okay"
-mother

I went outside and walked to Brandon's house thinking again why did Brandon did not had lunch with me? Why did he not waited for me? Why did he not noticed me when I was in front if him? This questions intriguing thinking this questions again and again. Not knowing I passed Brandon's house a couple of meters away. I looked from side to side where I should go I heard
a voice.

"Faster come on catch me if you can"
-????

"I will catch you"
-????

I heard this voices the first voice sounds familiar while the other voice is not. I followed this voice it lead me through the park. The voice was coming from Brandon
I saw just Brandon I was excited to see only him but I was curious where the other voice came but I'm so happy I run towards him. I was shocked when I saw the boy playing with Brandon I stopped running and just stood still. Watching my best friend playing with someone surely would hurt a lot ( I MEAN A LOT). I turned my back and started walking slowly. Brandon noticed me he shouted

"Daniel would you like to play?"
-Brandon

I slowly turned my back and just let them see my side view of my face with tears.

"What happened?"
-Brandon

He asked with curiosity

"Stop there"
-Daniel

I said to him. I rapidly run going home. He tried to chased me but I'm to fast.

( Poor Daniel )

I got home my mom saw me

"What happened Daniel what's wrong?"
-mother

These are the words that my mom told me.

"Mom am I a bad best friend?"
-Daniel

I cried while saying. I lie in her lap

"Daniel don't be sad maybe it's not true"
-mother
