Killua's breath rasped and he let out a cough. "woah man you good?" a worried voice said from behind him. Killua couldn't concentrate on anything other than the heavy weight of the glass bottle in his hands. The white noise in the background swam in and out of his range of hearing, the harsh ringing obnoxiously making itself home in his head. "Eh? Yeah m'fine" he said, leaning heavily against the hard brick wall. A hand rested on his shoulder. "how old are you-? You look a bit young to be here unsupervised-" Killua blinked slowly, his brain was lagging a little from the alcohol. "I'm uh.... Ninedy" he said. The woman who's face came into view blinked. "you mean nineteen?"
"yeah! That-" he blinked a few more times, and his head swam. The room looks funny- arms wrapped around him and he leaned heavily into the woman, feeling a buzz in the back of his head. She chuckled. "woah there bud. You look like you've had one too many drinks. Got a phone?" Killua stared listlessly at the wall for a few moments. "dead as hell" he said, fumbling his phone out of his pocket. His fingers didn't seem to work the way he wanted them to as he nearly dropped it. The woman gently took it from him, then blinked. "it's not turning on-" Killua cackled, then couldn't stop laughing. He didn't know what was so funny, but man was it goddamn hilarious. "said was dead as hell"
The woman chuckled. "you did. Well, can you get home from here?" Killua snorted. "sure's hell can" he tried to walk away, then proceeded to stumble into a chair. "the fuck-" he grumbled and kicked the chair for being in his way. Bitch. The woman sighed, grabbing his arm. "I should probably go with you-" Killua shrugged her off, shoving his hands in her pockets with an indignant expression. "x'cuse me bish, I can do it myself" he said sassily. The woman giggled. "awe sweety, you couldn't make it to the parking lot" she said, patting his head. Killua blinked a few times, the ringing got quieter but it was still constantly there. He felt himself sway a little. "the fu-" he jolted as another drunk guy pounded his hands down on the table beside him as he yelled some gibberish killua was too wasted to catch, standing up and the chair slammed into killua's side.
Killua wheezed, gripping onto his side. "the shitty hell bloody bitch-" The woman quickly escorted him out as the fight escalated, and someone threw a stool, shit was going down. Killua tried to crane his neck to watch but the door shut in his face. He let out a whine. "come onnnnn it wash just getting' good!" The woman ignored his protests as she practically dragged him down the street. "you could've gotten hurt. c'mon kid where's your address" Killua huffed. "kooko" he said. The woman blinked. "Kukoroo? That gated neighborhood? Aint that a place for old people?" Killua's head lolled a bit. "Mommy and daddy are suuuuuper old" he said. The woman hummed. "well I cant go with you into the gated community but I can bring you there" she said, starting to lead him somewhere.
Killua's eyes started to droop, the alcohol was really kicking in and he was getting drowsy. He could barely focus on putting one foot in front of the other, let alone walk straight. The woman kept him steady, and as time went on she was practically supporting all his weight. "alright, got your I.D bud?" Killua fumbled a card out of his pocket, showing it to her. She hummed. "just walk straight alright?" the next few minutes was kind of blurred for killua, he showed the man his I.D and he let him in. he stumbled along the street, leaning against a wall heavily. "Shit.." he was pretty damn intoxicated, it was really hitting him now. He hurled into a bush, coughing. He went back to walking, barely able to see his feet anymore. It wasn't long before he tripped and fell onto a hard rough surface, scraping his skin.
It was fun the first few hours...now I feel like- Killua blinked rapidly as a bright harsh light hit his eyes. He whined, half covering them as he tried to see. It was futile, the light kept getting brighter and brighter. He sat up, trying to figure out what it was coming from, what that noise was- thud.
Killua went flying back several meters as a driver who hadnt seen him lying on the road hit him. Agony stabbed through his face, and he couldn't move, much less think. There was a scream, the car door slammed shut. "OH MY GOD- SIR ARE YOU OK!?" Killua couldn't reply, he couldn't even fucking see. His ears, they were pounding. The blood rushing was so loud. He felt a hand on his shoulder but the touch was faint. The pain...slowly started to fade. He closed his unseeing eyes, and let it happen. The cold grip of death wrapped its icy hands around his shoulders, pulling his consciousness from his body and pulling him down into a quiet, eternal sleep.
