I threw my wings in the way of my body as I fell back. I felt the lava from Akainu touch my wings, but I wasn't dead. I moved my wings away to look up and see Ace had taken the hit for me. "Why? You are supposed to live..." I reached out to him as he coughed up blood.

Akainu moved back as Ace stayed standing then coughed up more blood and fell onto me as Luffy tried to catch him.

I couldn't move as many followed their rage and attacked Akainu.

"...you are dying..." I let out as they pelted him with attacks, but Akainu walked through unscathed.

"Looks like you are still alive." Akainu commented as he prepared to attack again.

"Don't do it!" Luffy screamed as he held onto Ace tightly pulling him off of me and I was behind Luffy now.

"Stop it! Go away!" I screamed loudly and it felt like it took some energy out of me as I saw many Marines fall confusing me.

"She has it?" Akainu groaned as I saw Jinbei was blocking his attack. "You are just delaying the inevitable Jinbei!"

Marco and Vista then went in to attack. "Can't you see it's too late to save him?" Akainu asked, and they looked to see the huge hole in Ace's back and chest.

"Ace?" Luffy let out. "Hey, are you alright? Hey."

"There's no living that, nothing has changed its hell out here to." I let out as I was staring at my hands that were covered in his blood.

"I'm sorry, Luffy, Juno..." Ace let out. "In order to save me, you pushed yourselves that far, but..."

"WHY DID YOU STAND IN FRONT OF ME?!" I screamed at him.

"Because I can't let someone so pretty die." Ace grinned at me and he looked happy to see to say that like it was really worth losing his life over, just to protect me.

"That smile...don't give me that smile!!" I screamed loudly as I was freaking out.

"Somebody treat him!" Luffy ordered.

"Obey!" I let out to see if she could help. "...Don't even try Juno. There's nothing I can do. I don't think even that can help him...sorry...sorry to you to Luffy, obey."

"But she was able to..." I cried out of frustration.

"It's no use." Ace admitted. "I can't hold out any longer. I can tell that my life is ending."

"Ace." I took his face into my hands confusing him. "Ace, I order you to stay live, my orders are abs-"

I puked up blood from the amount of energy that took concerning Ace as I held my chest and kept my head down to hide the amount of blood that was coming out. "Ivankov! Can you inject Ace with that?!" Luffy begged him continuously without stopping.

"Straw hat boy! He can't make it!" Ivankov yelled wanting him to just stop.

"Huh? No way! You promised me! You said that you would never die no matter what!" Luffy freaked out. "Ace! Why did you say? You can't hold out any longer?!"

"I wouldn't even have the will to live...if it weren't for Sabo and a high-maintenance brother like you." Ace admitted.

"Sabo?" I mumbled.
